New Years Plans?

I'll be at my mom's house for the weekend- all of my immediate family members will be there- celebrating a late Christmas, but we'll probably stay up New Year's Eve and have some alcoholic beverages for the occasion. I have no friends to "party" with, but family is better than nothing. If I hadn't asked off for the weekend, I'd probably be working.

The world isn't supposed to end until December of 2012. So you basically still have to live out the entire year. We still have 12 months left.

I wish I had plans. I always feel so sad and lonely when I don't have anywhere to go.

I think it's good that you have something to be nervous about. That means you actually have a friend.

I don't have any friends, so I have nothing to be nervous about, which isn't a good thing.

New Years will just be another day for me, as every other holiday is. I'll probably avoid watching the ball drop because it's just depressing watching everyone making out on tv while I'm at home alone with nobody. Same thing every year. There hasn't been one year where I ever made out with a woman at midnight on new years eve.

Two years ago was the only time ever I actually was invited somewhere (I'll be 22 in three weeks). This year too, I'll be 'celebrating' new year's with my parents... I've learnt to live with the fact that everyone's having fun and that it'll probably last a few more years before I get to kiss someone at midnight.

An early night and then a fun run on News Year morning. I'm nervous about before the race it is mixing with people prior to a race that my anxiety is bad.

I have to work on the 31st and on the 1st and will have to get up really early on both of those days. So no partay for me. It's just an excuse though. I will probably go sleep in the afternoon and wake up shortly before midnight so I don't miss it, watch the fireworks for a bit and go nap again to get up at 5 am later on. Last year I chilled with my bf and his mother. We ate fruit salad, played board games and watched a movie. It never really gets more exciting than this. So yeah.

Unfortunately, there never was a EOTW 2012 prophecy, simply a start of a new age.. the Age of Aquarius. Life just gets better and better *sigh* lol

The girl that was supposed to be coming out here for the new year sent me an email on Facebook last night telling me she cancelled her trip out here...hahaha. It's not like she had originally planned to come out here to see ME anyway and to be honest it is a bit of a relief....In the past I would have beat myself up.....but today I I am actually a bit happy because I never liked being around this girl anyway...that is to say that our personalities clashed ....at least in my head they did haha

I'm going on strike. I'm not going anywhere. I don't want to go out and nobody is going to make me. I am firmly 'in' for the weekend. I may go have lunch with my sister on Sunday but that is it!!!

I'll be watching DVD's all night with my love. Will be fun! :)

Last year we couldn't. So I'm really happy we can! It's so special to me ::eek::

I'll be spending New Year's Eve playing video games with added headphones to drown out the banging of fireworks.

Probably staying in and making sure my dog doesn't have a fit from fireworks. The downside to staying in is that my mum is having a party here. Bleh.

I'm taking the train to the capital and meeting people there but I'm not sure what we're doing yet,or where we're staying, because the people I'm going with keep changing their minds. I'd rather just stay at home, but I'm always so anti-NYE and this is the first year in a long time that I'll be glad to see the back of, so I want to celebrate for a change.

I am sure you will have a great time Twiggle!

So, apparently I'm not just sitting around at my mom's house tonight... my sisters have invited me out. I don't know where, but they've already decided that I'm not wearing my own clothes, and speculating about what to do with my hair. :S
