Well done.
Have backspaced many potential repsonses to this. None are equal to your question.

I will say I think black and white. Is or is not. Exist or not. There is reason I do exist, so I must exist. I have to be here. That would be I have to be.

Urban dictionary is not helping me. What does o_O mean?

o_O is a face. Kind of like a raised eyebrow confused or intrigued type face.

I'm fine with kids as they think I'm funny as I act abit daft, it's adults I struggle with!

We've spoken before, you and I. Mistaken I could be. Still think there's more to you than what we see here.

To each their own. I think you simply do not like them. I am almost certain the feeling is mutual. To prove this, I cannot. I will not claim seriously to have an ability to read minds.

Curious questions to you: Glass half empty or is it half full? False or truth?

Quite plausible. However seeing as how I've had far from pleasant experiences with my younger cousins when I was a boy, that could have given me reason to dislike children. There were numerous other events with children I would rather not go into detail about of course. I will not deny that I do have a disinclination towards children.

The glass is half empty according to me. Life is but a long sad game, drifting souls avoiding shame. Now when you ask false or truth, are you pertaining to your question about the glass or something else?

Troubled past may very well lead to a troubled present. I can, maybe not fully, relate to your experience of past. Elementary life and part of secondary life, learning they call it, spent alone, teased, outcast, demoralized.

Those experiences only desensitized me to the grand negativity of all things. Leaving me with a severely underdeveloped skill at accepting and delivering complementary comments. Cheers.

No detail required. Understood.

Glass half empty you say: Pessimist, I am as well. Trying to change.
False or truth: An open question. No correct or incorrect response. I, at times, enjoy making others simply think.

I am completely opposite. Adults I can handle better than kids. They take whatever I have built in defense from Avoidance and break it down.

Picture little kids climbing over a stone wall - me. Am I invisible?

I'm fine.

If your happy with your self, your happy with whos around you---- big or small.

Your thoughts on kids are a by product of avoidance, what that means is kids/adults aren't the problem.

The problem has been highlghted by the avoiance in you.

Stick to your basics of breaking the grip and this will disappear.

And who needs complementary comments when you have scathing sarcasm and enough cold fury to freeze the center of the galaxy?

Well, er...if that is the case then I say false, there is no absolute truth in the world.

I must counter. When you say 'there is no absolute truth in the world.' Are you referring to the people of the world?

When a young child speaks his or her mind, they see things as is. Is what they say not an absolute truth?

They have not yet been corrupted by society. It is a straight path from what they see, granted misunderstood the sight may be, to what is said. Sounds absolute to me.

And these are the conversations I miss in real life. People just don't give time to think these days. Nerves don't help much either.

Sorry, long awaited post.

Success!

Thanks to the posters here. Was able to let the border patrol loose on a permanent leave of absence. Now, where can I get some of their endless supply of energy?

My apologies. Allow me to rephrase myself. When I said "there is no absolute truth in the world" I meant that in reality there is no absolute truth, only perceived ones. The universe has no final truth.

I'm afraid thinking must be done on one's own time.

Kids are great, they ain't ruined by the constraints and rules of society. So they say what they see and don't care about what anyone else thinks. You handled the situation fine. Next time just put a Halloween mask on and get your own back.

I'm great with kids... I think it's because I am a child-at-heart.... I can relate to them more than adults (and admire them more as well), and they don't judge me! ;)

I've always felt the same way. I just don't know how to act around kids, probably because I've never really been around them before.
Because of their honesty I am truthfully scared of them. I'm scared they will say something rude about me or say something random to which I can't respond. I'm afraid of looking stupid by being silly/goofy with them, because it's hard enough for me to be silly/fun around anyone really.

Sadly, I usually just end up avoiding them. When they say something to me I either say a short answer or do a nervous giggle and smile. I even do this around 10-year-olds.
I'm hoping that in the future when I have my own kids, I will be better. :[

you know, this is a great quality for attracting women. I think you have what it takes, I don't see how you've been ignored for so long!

This is still a self-denying statement. "There is no abosolute truth / The universe has no final truth" can not be true, because within the statement it denies the existence of truth.

Kids love me for some reason. And I always attract their attention for some reason too. But when in public and I see some kind of a naughty/mean little kid, I fear that he might offend me somehow and I wouldn't know how to react. How pathetic is that? Afraid of being embarrassed in public by a little kid...
