How are you feeling?

feeling grateful to be breathing and living.

(close call on bike this a.m.)

Glad your ok. I have a friend who was not so lucky on his mountain bike due to a tin coffin pilot. He survived but spent nine months recovering from multiple brakes and other injuries. Needless to say he sets off all the metal detectors in the airport now.

Like a fumblinh, bumbling teenage dork who can't string two words together to make a legible sentence because he is in the presence of the hot chick he has a crush on.

I'm 34 for crying out loud.

Kind of down tonight. More so than I've felt for quite a while, even though there's no specific reason for me to be.

Life feels like a desert. Whichever direction I look in, I seem to see nothing but the same arid, featureless landscape stretching to the horizon. No matter which direction I face, it all looks the same. I need an oasis.

depressed. being awake is so much more depressing than being in a reoccurring dream- getting eaten by zombies.
I'd rather be asleep right now.

Kinda down, but trying to keep positive thoughts. It's really sad when one subject almost sends me back into a depression just thinking about it. :/ It's a lost cause, I don't know why I'm worrying about it. I'm pretty much screwed over, I think.

You're only as screwed over as you believe you are. Are you listening to music right now? Try listening to a playlist of all of your favorite songs and just focus on the music; close your eyes and wipe everything else away. Or you could try going to sleep since that might "reset" your brain. Here's to hoping that you feel better, Phoenixx:)!

yeah life sucks when you have anxiety issues. sorry to hear about your situation. I went to a psych today and he basically told me my depression goes hand in hand with my anxiety and fear. i felt like a piece of crap because i basically realized that if i had different genes i may well be like all the other people i'm envious of now. why do we have to pay the price for circumstances we didn't choose???

Anyway do you have an idea why you have those recurring dreams? I have my own share of them too ::(:

yeah i know that feeling. but keep up the positive thoughts. it's better than feelings of despair.

I've had dreams of zombies for as long as I can remember-- any dream where I wake up and remember more than just 'black'; had zombies in it.

i'm sorry to hear that. i guess i shouldn't really be asking you about it, and keeping you thinking about it while you're awake *doh*

Maybe some nice warm drink that isn't infused with caffeine can lift your spirits.

Hope you're feeling better.

I had decaf coffee this morning. Been dealing with depression and severe anxiety lately, which made me real unmotivated this past weekend. I procrastinated, and now I'm struggling to maintain speed and not get behind again.

I think you took the words from my mouth. Or keyboard. I've been very similar lately. I didn't even go to the gym today, and I usually go on Wednesdays. ::(:

Anyway, I hope you feel okay soon. It's horrible and there's nothing that can be a quick fix but I'm available for a venting session if you feel the strange need to spill your guts to a random Australian. :)

Or maybe this will put a smile on your face?
