How are you feeling?

I'm glad it helped :)

Its very easy for people to act a certain way over the internet but in reality they can be much different. Its better for you that people just take you as you are when they meet you.

There were about 20 of us who regularly posted to each other before we started at the same University. Out of that 20, who all seemed lovely online, I only really got 2, maybe 3 proper friendships out of it. A few of them turned out to be pretty nasty in real life. And some of them who used to say lots online said nothing in real life. So there's little point in people relying too heavily on who they speak to on Facebook. And I'm sure also, that they know that deep down too and are more excited about meeting people when they get there :)

Once there, people will forget about the friendships they've forged on Facebook anyway - there'll be so much going on. Some of the 20 people I never even met!

So yeah, don't worry :)

And yeah, video calls! I love that Facebook makes me feel closer to my friends in distant countries... but there is such a thing as being too close to everybody. If that makes sense. By 2070 we'll probably be able to dress each other over Facebook or something. I hope that website dies down fast.
^ I agree that people should take me for just me. Not what they see on the internet. I would definitely be one of those people to talk more online than off, and because of that, I'd rather just let them meet me in person rather than online. I don't want them to suspect I'm fake or rude or something for talking quite a bit online, but nothing in person.

By 2070, people will probably be able to dress each other on Facebook..... Or the site will evolve to the point where people can control each other... Like Sims. Maybe by then, we'll all have those plumbobs hanging over our heads.

Oh don't worry, I'm not trying to enforce the spelling law lol. I just have a compulsive desire to correct people.

It's not a fun thing to have

That alright. I honestly don't mind being corrected. It's how we learn. So please officer pebblesdundee carry on enforcing the law. Lol

yeah im ok now.
thanks.

That's good. : )

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for making this site so wonderful and accepting. For the first time in years I can talk more openly to people, even know there's no one here that I know well. You're all brilliant people and if I hadn't come across this site I wouldn't have made any progress at all. I hope that one day all of you are free from social anxiety. We will get there together.
