How are you feeling?

I suppose idealists live happier lives. Can you be an idealist and a realist at the same time?

I would like to add optimism and pessimism in your question. They all relate to each other. In my opinion and in the practice of my life, idealism, realism, optimism, and pessimism are all intertwined and have differing effects.I have many ideals in life but they can be foolhardy and out of touch as much or more than being overly optimistic. Realism can greatly help you from being overly idealistic while idealism can be the better choice rather than being too cautious. If any are out of balance and cause you to feel wrong about your actions or opinions, they can lead to a more pessimistic view about matters. Perhaps more interactions could be found?

To get to the heart of the matter of my view, they all need to have a balance that fits into one's life and the world around.

So, I clean up after myself and around the house.
She rarely does.
I have to get up the mess since she didn't when she should have so that I, ME,
won't get yelled at for not getting it up.

I cured my anxiety this morning and now it is back because I am procrastinating.
Am also feeling like an outcast.

I don't feel so good, actually. I'm a bit scared of tomorrow and I feel like just giving in because it's easier.

I feel mostly ok. I finally made several work phone calls which I had been putting off. I really should have done it sooner, but at least I finally did it. So that feels pretty good I guess. Plus I plan to go see 'The Social Network' tonight which I'm excited about because I'm a huge David Fincher fan.

it all depends on your reality

someone thinking that everything is black may assume that they're being a realist - but are they?

is everything really black?

it all depends on your reality

(the secret is - we can change our reality)

So. Tired. Not enough sleep is not good for the mind. I feel like it's 4am, but it's 2:30 pm. Can't sleep with sun and sounds of cars on the highway. Tired.

She's upset when I'm not all happy
but she doesn't understand that a dog is happy to see her
and she think something is wrong with it

Slowly I am sinking into the abyss. I feel I am doing everything possible to keep my head above water. Yet, seemingly my old demons of sorrow are bitterly creeping into my days. I am so tired of these feelings.
