Well, the usual. Money being the big one. Then there's fitting things in with my job and responsibilities etc. Also, the track is closed for the winter months due to snow. It can get dangerous there.

About a month after I went last time, a woman was crossing a riverbed (boulder hopping) when the river level suddenly rose due to an upstream downpour. She became trapped in the middle and the river ended up sweeping her to her death while her two hiking mates looked on helplessly.

But.... I'm definitely going back.

I am feeling more miserable than usual today. For so many different reasons.
Just when you think that nothing more could go wrong, along comes another problem, to drag you down even further.

I wish I could write creatively, so I could write a poem to express how comforting Death would be right now.
Death, to me, would be like sitting in front of warm fireplace, after getting soaking wet out in the freezing cold rain.

I know how you feel Blue. But as down as I get the one thing that has stopped me from opting out has been the knowledge that life can change pretty quickly, sometimes out of the blue.. no pun intended.

Awww.... :sad: Did'nae think me no posting for a few days would result in this. Anyway, I've been feeling a bit weird, managed to somehow get maself back into a routine, while dealing with insomnia on n' off due to feeling more creative at night. Also, just managed to figure out how to fix an issue with my laptop after 3 days of swearing at it outta frustration.

Of course ! But for most part I'm just trying to keep my mind occupied, tryingg focus on making music more than anything. As I fear that I'm just going to lose it and snap. Needless to say, I am not looking forward to spending Christmas with my family this year.

That’s an accurate description of Christmas Day in my family, which is why I’ve not enjoyed it for the past 15 years. Don’t think this year will be any different, really. Which is why I’ve said to my mum that, under no circumstances, will I sitting at the table this year. Regardless of them supposedly wanting to be there. Naw! Not after the tense, unpleasant atmosphere of last year’s... Sod that! I’m gonnae sit there n’ pretend it’s all grand and give the impression that we all get along.

Sorry to hear about your insomnia. You know what? chamomile works well for me to go to sleep. i don't need it but i found out after drinking it it's strong! Do you have a naturopathic store you can get it from?

Cheer for the suggestion about chamomile. But, I don’t think there’s a naturopathic store in my town. There’s probably one in south west Scotland, but it would mean travelling to get it, though. And when yer living with a needy co-dependent parent who can’t bare being in the house by themselves... for me, it makes just going out difficult. To put it lightly.

Failing getting it from a store outta town, I guess I could probably get some chamomile from an online store?

I don't know how to get it online I just know that you can get it from a natural health store. perhaps you can type 'online natural health store' and then look for 'chamomile tea'. If you have difficulty choosing which brand PM me and I'll be able to try to help.

I am glad of the good days, Molly. Very glad, in fact. It’s just those are few and far when yer stuck in between a group of dysfunctional folk who also happened to be family, and they cause conflict nearly everyday. Someday I just wish emigrating to another country was easily done.

Uh-huh! I hate that that’s always the excuse I get whenever my family wrong me. So, because they’re family, for some reason that exempts them from personal responsibility when they betray your trust.
