the people who assume the whole world is judging them are, themselves, very judgmental

i keep wondering why that is so....

are we so judgmental because we think the world is judging us, and so we act in kind?

or do we assume the rest of the world is so judgmental of us because that's how WE already are?

if it is the latter, perhaps the whole answer is to reframe our own thinking so that we, ourselves, are not so judgmental - thus causing us to quit assuming that everyone else is judging us in the first place

I woke up feeling awful. Then I cooked lunch and dinner for my family and I was feeling ok, but right now, after coming back from library, my mind is idle so again I got this depression that has been affecting me for them most of the week, precisely everytime mi mind gets idle. perhaps a combination of all three?

regardless, i maintain that learning to let go of our judgment of others is an important step toward letting go of our own (destructive) self-judgment

Oh my god......

Left my phone in the bathroom at work. Someone, presumably a customer, stole it. I was bawling my eyes out. I was trying to tough it out and stay my full shift, but I couldn't, I was too upset.

One of my managers lent me money for a new one and I'll just pay her back a little each week. That was so sweet of her, I felt like crying all over again.

Feel pretty crappy (happy I can get another one but still crappy overall).

Meh. I got a call from the manager at Barnes and Noble earlier this afternoon to inform me that I didn't get the job. *Sigh* Oh well... guess I'll be giving Fresh and Easy a shot next.

My dad was in the hospital and I was worried about him. He's okay now though. He's home now however he's kind of out of it. The health care professionals gave him meds because his blood pressure was so high which, in turn cause him to get a nose bleed that wouldn't stop. I'm just glad he's okay.

It's alright. It's probably for the better. The manager didn't come off as a very friendly person so my SA probably would have driven me to quit that job right away. I'm glad to hear that your father is doing okay now. I hope you're doing okay now as well

Im so freakin pissed right now. I just looked online and its saying I got a 56 on my chem lab last week and it says I still didn't finish it! I went on the site and tried to see whats wrong but it just says that my project is past its due date and ten points will be taken off for every day late. Which is BS because I finished it last week and I got all the answers right. Me and the professor are gonna have a sit down soon as he gets in Monday. Im not getting an F when I actually put honest work into this crap.
