Well it's not often i get good news, but my band is going to have some guy from a record label come check us out.

If my band gets signed, could be big.

You might wanna check the DIY stuff too... Getting signed by a record company was 'big' in the old days, these days many bands do their own recording and promo, or hire promo people etc.

Do read everything carefully if you sign anything, and get knowledgeable people to help with contracts etc! Even Rolling Stones got tricked by their manager or something like that, if I remember it right...

I think many successful musicians or performers may have had sa and this didn't stop'em - for some we know, for some we don't..
