I don't really take that many game screenshots, but here are some I took kinda recently.

Here's my conjurer-archer Wood Elf character from Skyrim. He's still in the very early stages of the game, so he's not decked out in the best gear. He could probably do with some trousers to start. :p

And here's a screenie from Dear Esther. I didn't really enjoy it that much, but there was some nice scenery.

^ Yeah, I had it on the Gameboy advance, just too small to play. You seriously need a SNES!

Has to be one of the best games (gameplay wise) that I've ever played.

I've been playing a ton of Space Engineers over the last week or so. It's a new game in development, and is currently available as early access. It's a voxel game that allows you to build your own star crafts and space stations (with more features coming out every two weeks or so).

It works similar to Minecraft. You can build things by connecting a series of differently shaped blocks/parts. Amongst which are also nuclear reactors (for power), gravity generators, thrusters and all other sorts of things you need for stations and star crafts. But what I really like is that it isn't as attached to the blocky aesthetic as Minecraft is, which results in a much more realistic looking game.

The little dude in the black space suit is the player character. As you can see, you can go nuts with size. Though, you do have take mass into consideration. The one I'm standing on is 15 million kilograms last time I checked. You need tons of power, thrusters and gyroscopes to fly it.

Yea, it seems like every year there's a promising new MMORPG that's going to reinvent the genre. Unfortunately none has even come close to competing with WOW. WOW isn't the first of it's kind, but for a lot new gamers, Blizzard has set the gameplay mechanics for MMO's.

I'm a huge TES fan, but never for the combat system. I'm not sure how well it will translate into a massive multiplayer setting.

edit: Did you get into beta!?

Yeah way back before Xmas. Got into Wildstar beta too. I like both combat systems but they are quite different and nothing like WOW.

I found the awesome caravan mod for Skyrim the other day. The best thing about it is that it is an actual cart you can drive, it's not a teleportation means of transportation. It's actually pulled by your horse with you in full control. I'm one of those weird people that doesn't fast travel, so this is a really fun alternative.

Those containers and barrels are actual containers, so you can put all your supplies in there without a problem.

Here, I'm also using the ''Immersive First Person'' mod, which allows for actual third person view. With this new camera mode turned on you can see your own body.

It does this by tying the camera of third person to the character's face. Which means that every time the game tries to pull you into third person, it displays it as first person. So alchemy, smiting, grinding, chopping wood and mining are now all in first person too. In this screenshot I'm pulling the caravan towards Ivarstead.

When you unhitch your horse, you can unfold a bedding area, and a small smiting area. On the inside, there's many labelled chests for storage.

When unfolded, the containers and barrels that were on the caravan are now unpacked and on the ground. Contents remain the same, of course.

The red bar is the character's warmth level.

With a mod called ''Frostfall'' you need to carefully monitor what you're wearing, how warm you are and whether you're wet or not. Exposure to the elements can kill you. It also adds several new gameplay mechanics focussed on survival; building fires, pitching a tends to sleep and hang out in, ect.

I have another mod called realistic needs and deceases, with makes eating and drinking necessary for your survival. It also makes deceases dangerous and physically noticeable.
