Find a hobby. Any nice suggestions?

Hello,

I would love to find a nice hobby, I already sing, play the guitar & piano and I love photoshop. But I'd love to do more :)
Any nice suggestions?, XX Flowergirlie

Hm, I think you can ask yourself: what do I want to do with this hobby?
Just 'fill the time' or 'connect with new people' or 'learn something new and fascinating' or all of the above? :)

Also, if money is a consideration: something to do for free/cheap/might cost or save some money/might make some money...?
Can you do it alone and/or with others...?

Do you want something creative or more 'down-to-earth' (or both)?
Some kind of exercise might be nice, like dancing or such? Or rollerblading?
Something that involves the whole body... Or working with wood (making or restoring furniture :D Beware of any iffy chemicals here though..)

I think it would be good to find something to take you from the computer and into Nature/outdoors..
Or possibly to connect you with other cool people iRL...?

How about karate/kung fu/tai chi?

You should learn how to juggle. Not a hobby per se, but it does take some time and is really awesome to do after you learn how.

I used to make beaded earrings and bracelets all the time! You can do all sorts of cool things with beads as there are so many different kinds. I suggest you look up ideas on the Internet about making jewelry or other things out of beads :)

One thing that I absolutely love doing is painting Snapple caps (the have all those cool facts). I paint them with acrylic paint and do little designs all over. Then I cover the paint up with a lacquer once it's dry, glue a magnet on the back, and voila, I have custom magnets! lol

Good luck!

hiking or just nice long walks. its a great hobby to have and you can keep fit which is nice. But the thing I love about it is being out in nature all by myself. It can easily ease my mind from reality and its the only place I can feel comfortable being by myself, as if I can truly live in the now tense.

I want to find a hobby too! I guess playing video games is one but I don't really have anything else. I want to be able to cycle around everywhere for fun, now I can ride a bike I need to build my confidence to do so on roads. But anyway for the time being I want to try and find something else to do...

Perfect! I'm looking for life skills to learn and this would be great to pull off! I'm going to practice doing that! Thank you!

I actually love camping and going on adventures, why not give that a whirl?

I would love to do that! But where exactly do you go? Isn't it illegal to do it, wouldn't you be classsed as a gypsie? There's miles of fields and wooded areas in and around my village, I think a man owns most of it, but he only checks on it like once a month lol so I may consider camping in one of the woods for a night sometime.

Cool! O Holland is second best? I'll assume Thailand is first, since that's where Muay Thai came from! Where did you learn it?

There have been some really good suggestions on here!

I agree with martial arts..I don't think it really matters which one you choose unless your concerned about competing.I think anything which teaches self defense can help to boost self confidence,it keeps you fit and you have the chance to meet new people.

Camping is a good idea too, there is nothing more beautiful than nature imo.

Drawing and painting is a good hobby, and I really believe it is something anyone can become good at if they dedicate enough time to it.Or even just for fun it can be very relaxing.

You could get into fashion design too if you already use programs like photoshop.

I'd say do something with music as you already appear interested in that maybe collect albums or write songs or maybe photography that's a pretty easy hobby to get into.

cooking! yummmmy!

Cooking can be quite fun and rewarding.

And if you're feeling really ambitious, you can try to grow some of the food yourself. October is a bit late, but you could start thinking of some vegetables and herbs to grow next year if you'd like to give it a try.

In my opinion yes, they are the second best and yes Thailand is the first,I do boxing,I dont really know muay thai,Japan is also good at it,Japan is pretty much really good at all combat sports at the lower weights, contrary to the popular belief that asians cant fight...
