Do you have any talents?

I am good at using scrap metal and junk as parts for repairs, make weird tools, or handy devices. I also can make weird but effective weapons that do not fall under the prohibited weapons category in my state's law.

I'm not too bad at mechanics and electronics.

I'm good at drawing flow-diagrams and plans for everything that needs a plan B or C or D. In other words, I'm good at accessing risks to avoid shit hitting the fan.

Hmm what skills specifically do you do in solitary? I'm just curious!

Let's see..

I can draw. I can sing. I can write 'cause I read lots. I experiment a lot with photography. I used to make random things with paper and duct tape. I'm good at badminton. But the one useful skill that I developed out of loneliness is programming - it's what landed me a job in cali for next year.

I've pretty much given up on these skills nowadays because I believe they just reinforce my SA. For example I love art but I feel like when I make art I'm wasting my life away because I should be spending time with friends and developing social skills.

I'm an emotional camel. I can go for weeks living off the emotional input of a single social stimuli. This allows me to cope with the whole spectrum of boredom related illnesses.

But really, I can draw kinda, sorta...

Lets see where to begin.... I can play the drums (percussion), piano. I was an electronic tech in the data communications field so I am good with everything with computers, hardware, software, MODEMs, multiplexers, analog and digital communications. I am good with plumbing, HVAC (heating and air conditioning), drywall, roofing, carpentry. I have made jewelry in the past with my lapidary set. (Lapidary is the art of making jewelry out of gemstones) I am good with electrical circuits, even though I am not an electrician, I do know enough to wire up a house. I am good with troubleshooting (which is my forte). I am a good mechanic, and I can rip apart an engine fix it tune it up and put it all back together again. Most people who know me, call me the "Jack of all trades, master of none...." Which is probably pretty accurate. Oh, and I am pretty good at gardening too. I make my own rifle cartridges and I can shoot sub MOA groups... etc...

Well, I guess can sketch Portraits, I have always been really good at that. I love to write songs and compose music, I don't know if they are any good though. My brother seems to think that I'm a really good songwriter, but I haven't recorded anything because by the time I finish a song, I'm already bored with it and I end up thinking that its just bad music. However, I'm pushing myself to record a song soon, I might post it here, when I'm done. SAD sucks!

I can hoola hoop.

But really, I guess I have some creative outlets, but I'm not sure if I'd call them talents. I play guitar primarily, but I'll try to pick up any instrument and play it. I like to write and craft, and paint, though I'm not any good at drawing one bit.

I can name 95% of cars on the road made past 1990. I can name MANY cars just by their tail lights at night time.

I can throw cards a good distance and hard enough to cut a bananna occasionally. Make very good paper plains/flying objects. Play guitar half way decent. Play football very well, and football video games probably even better. Fix electronics, but nothing too technical. Communicate/teach dogs :)

OMG I was the same when I was a kid! I was a car addict back then but now I'm not even that interested in getting a driver license.

All I can say is wow.

I don't mean to steal everyone's thunder, but I can hold my breath for like, 45 seconds. Maybe I could be an oyster diver?

Also hippiechild, that's my new sig. I went to a party thing on Halloween, I don't need human contact again until 2010.

I haven't found my talent yet.. Always when I think I can do something, I suck at it in the end.. But I always want to be good the moment I start and I don't realize that it takes practice to do something good..

I used to play a game like that with my family on long road trips, it was fun.

I'm still hoping to find some undiscovered talent of mine. I picked up playing guitar a few years ago, but I sure wouldn't call my playing talented.

Another Jack of Trades here. I can probably fix anything in the garden or the house, and am slowly learning cars as well. I'm pretty good at writing, but it doesn't really do anything for me anymore. I'm usually pretty good at identifying hawks quickly, although warblers are another story. I play guitar and bass, and struggle with motivation to learn the violin. Musically I'm a doppelganger: I can copy nearly anything, but haven't yet found my own "voice." Also, I often remember music after hearing it just once. Again, not perfectly, but good enough. And I can set up and work on electric guitars, too. Maybe not well enough to work in a shop, but good enough for my needs. I'd love to learn how to safely work on amps and effect pedals as well, but so far none of those circuits have stuck in this brain of mine.

Oh, and I also have a talent for remaining unnoticed in the background. Too bad I never learned a foreign language. I probably could have done well in the CIA.
