I'm totally confused. You said that you feel as thought there are 'more bad people than good people and its getting worse'. The way I interpret that is that you believe there are more bad people than good and that there are more bad people now than in the past?
Yes, because the rapidly increasing flow of information is normalizing reckless behaviors and those reckless behaviors can often lead to bad things happening.
I don't know what's good about them because I don't know them. But putting them under the title of "bad", in my opinion, is just ridiculous! Save that title for rapists and murderers, eh? Not people who enjoy a drink and consensual sex.
My comment wasn't about people who enjoy a drink and have consensual sex because the article is not even about that.
Dating culture is dead - instead, young New Zealand women are regularly getting drunk and cruising around in packs looking for men to have sex with.
That's not enjoying a drink and having consensual sex. That's just being plain stupid.
McIntyre said all the women who had experienced one-night stands had been affected by alcohol, a term described by at least one expert in a report as "getting pissed and hooking up".
Yesss, I'm so sure the girl is fully aware of what she's doing when she's drunk. Maybe New Zealand women are not affected by alcohol like other humans? They could easily get raped or worse. Or maybe they have STDs and are passing it around unknowingly or unwillingly. Ah, no, probably not, because those women have a really strong moral fiber in them. And if they get pregnant? Uhmm, it's okay. It's just a baby, no big deal!
The Sunday Star-Times' Being a Bloke survey last year found that 29% of the 5000 men surveyed felt they had been pressured into having sex or had had sex unwillingly.
So it's okay for a girl to do it but when it's a guy who does it then it's horrible?
I do agree that calling them "bad" people was wrong. They're not my favourite kind of people though, that's for sure.
