Aliens... I'd always thought that we were the late ancestors of something like that ...most likely Martians. Mars developed life around the same time as Earth (about 4 billions years ago), but Earth was slower to develop. Mars, however, developed complex, multicellular animal life relatively early on. Almost four billion years later, Mars had a sophisticated civilization of reptiles with highly developed brains. As their scientific understanding became more complete, they came to realize that their planet could not support them for very much longer; through extensive exploitation of their resources, they had dramatically altered the climate. Somewhere about 230 million years ago they traveled to Earth, which, while lacking the rich resources of the previously life supporting Mars, might be able to sustain the dying race.

What is probably a burial monument built by our distant reptilian relatives
marsfacebw.jpg

On Earth, without the support systems of their prosperous cities, the Martian pioneers gradually lost touch with the world of the technological, each generation becoming digressively less reliant on intelligence and more dependent on strong, innovative body designs for surviving in the harsh, intellectually barren world of Earth... and so became the reptilian rulers of the new planet.

For whatever reason, the majority of these animals were killed off rather suddenly... maybe an asteroid, sudden climate change or a combination of factors... Only the small, efficient ones survived, the ones who also happened to have retained parts of the highly developed brains of their Martian ancestors. They basically had free rein for the next couple million years. Forming groups and working together...

about 65 million years later this was engraved on the wall of a tomb in Egypt..
hieroplanes.jpg

and, almost 2000 years later still (350 CE), a man in India gives a shocking account of war against a strange and terrible enemy...

"It was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death, which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas. The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable. Hair and nails fell out; Pottery broke without apparent cause and the birds turned white."

Yes, nuclear weapons being used thousands of years ago.

It has been a global conspiracy to keep these advanced forms of weaponry secret. The countries that had access to them wanted it to stay that way, giving them ultimate power over every living creature on this planet. Only very, very recently have some (yes, only a fraction of the total) of the advanced weapons been leaked and utilized by other groups.

...chances are that this is not an isolated incidence

"Well, I dreamt that I was lying in my bed… [the dream sequence begins] in the dark. When all of a sudden this bright blue light filled the room [through my window, one can see a spaceship land and its light stream in]. Then slowly my bedroom door begins to open [an alien peeks inside] and the next thing I remember I was being drug through a hallway. ["Weeaak!"] Then I was lying on a table [face down, and aliens lower my pajamas] and these scary hands wanted to operate on me. And they had big heads and big black eyes… "

Okay so I got that from South Park.... Funny none-the-less... :D:D

I think it means - We welcome our spider looking overlords, we give you free worship, you make us better. Or - Spiderman gets pissed: "Batman gets the Bat-Signal, so why shouldn't I get my own.? :)

Ahaha that's a neat interpretation! Maybe!

I wonder if it might have been a way for extraterrestrials to make little notes on the planet... maybe work out a rough mapping of animals species and social groups by drawing it on the ground big enough to be seen during a relatively high altitude fly-by ...like labeling produce before you go in to buy (colonize) it.

I definitely believe in aliens. This is but one planet in one galaxy out of billions of galaxies. To think that we here on Earth are the only inhabitants is absolutely crazy.

I knew it, aliens like to go bowling as well. The tail must help them balance the ball. And instead of using bowling pins, they use cats? No wonder it looks terrified.::p:

It could be close to a trillion galaxies, with on average of 200 to 400 billion stars per galaxy; plus the planets around that star. I could also mention the multi-verse theory, but I won't. ;)

we are not taking about ufo crap seeing i light in the sky that you don't know what it is and suddenly saying its and alien ship::p: cum on this is a serious conversation about life in the universe. i would be pretty amazed at seeing the iss going across the sky if i didn't know it but that doesn't make it an alien ship

Even I was never a believer until i saw this.

But trust me these were not lights.
There were TWO red triangles with a blue haze coming out the back. They zig-zagged side to side across the sky, as if they were chasing each other. They travelled from one end of the sky to the other in a matter of seconds. The sheer angles of the turns they were pulling is impossible with our technology. I can't convince you to believe me, but that is honestly what we saw.

This is what we saw, they're being seen everywhere. (it's a zip file of images) UFO.zip

Yeah I'm a believer in life out there too. But like David said, until we have some kind of faster than light travel or they do, we'll never get to meet each other. Which might be a good thing, humans have a nasty reputation for not accepting things that are different from them.

that so true we humans have a bad habit of that, we are racist against our own kind imagine what we would be like when we can travel to other planets and visiting them hopefully by that time we have changed as a race

I think it's absolutely possible. Like they say in the movie Contact, "if it's just us, that's an awful waste of space."

I would absolutely love for alien discovery to occur in my lifetime. I don't care if its friendly or apocalyptic as long as I get to see it.
