Hi all! I'm 24, a college student, and I've had SA since I was about nine. Before that I was a fairly normal child, lol. Not sure how to talk frankly about this oh-so-wonderful disorder, so uh...yep. It's nice to discover that we're not all alone in this thing.

Hello everybody. I'm new here too and I am just so happy to find a place where I can talk to people who are going through what I'm going through. It's actually very difficult for me to type this right now. i can feel the anxiety coursing through my body at this very moment. But I feel that I can trust the people on this sight and it just feels great to finally find people too talk too. I feel I've had social phobia ever since I was a small child; but it's just now starting to get worse, and i am still very young, only 17. It seems like this would be a good place to talk to people.

hi there i am 18 from malawi and i am male. i never really knew that social phobia existed till today. i always knew i had psychological issues since.i was young but i never really knew what i was. i am always self consious of what i say, i say something and five minutes later i am still thinking about what i said if it was appropriate , i find it hard to make friends, i always think i am boring even though alot of people have told me that i am not, and i find it.very difficult to be around people i don't know and people who criticise a lot. hope this site will help me fit.in better and be the best i can be. thank you.

I have literally no friends, I don't talk with my parents, except school I don't leave my room.
