Hello! how are you? haven't spoken to you in a while so I am dropping by to say hello :) have you seen Russell Brand in Arthur yet?! I am going to see it tomorrow. >3 xx hope you are well
Thanks 3Lefts, sometimes I think the eye is the best lense of all. Sometimes the things I see with my eye, the camera can't quite capture.
Happy antiValentine's Day!! :) May your life be cheerful & FUN!! Always walking in interesting directions...
Hello 3lefts, yes the Killing Fields is worth watching, a film about a tragic time in Cambodia's history. Birdy is a film but also a book by William Wharton that I enjoyed reading
If they buy it from me, I keep the money regardless of whether or not it gets produced. Which isn't always good. If a studio options a script, they own it. So it ceases to be mine. But that's how the game works. The name escapes me, but a famous writer once said, "As a writer, you have to know when to kill the baby." That means never fall in love with your story, your characters etc. The more you care, the harder it is to change things or let them go.

Anything and everything by Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino(for the dialogue mostly), Akira Kurosawa, Alfred Hitchcock and Sergio Leone'. They're all brilliant storytellers. That's essentially what writing boils down to; telling a cohesive, entertaining and gripping story.
It would indeed. It's nice to make a living as a writer, but it would be a whole lot nicer to actually get something produced. Money is good, but screen credits are even better.
Possibly Birdy's Flight by Peter Gabriel, and Pran's Theme, by Mike Oldflied. No words, but the video and music makes me feel in a way words can't express.
Hello 3lefts, really liked the song you posted- signalling through the flames-American dollar.
I'm primarily a screenwriter for film and television. I've toyed with the idea of writing a novel, but that's a lot of work and I'm usually too busy. I've had a few film scripts optioned, but they almost always get stuck in development hell. Might have a TV pilot picked up in February, so fingers crossed.

The avatar is Igor from Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" Possibly the funniest movie ever made.
Have you seen Jeff Dunham perform? He has this really funny skit about NASCAR. He talks about, or rather, his puppets, about how funny it is that people enjoy watching cars making left turns 1000s of times.
3lefts, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! :)

Wishing you lots of wonderful moments and general awesomeness!!
