  • I am a fan myself too! Yep, I watch a LOT of animated films as well as series. I have so many favourites :D
Ah cool you're in London huh? I hear it rains there a lot too but I dunno if thats true or not. As for books not really. I do like to read but its mostly sci fi and fiction. I do have this book for star gazing that has a map but thats it.
I watched that show Cosmos when it came on tv. To be honest I cant really find anything these days. Everything has turned into Reality TV and its all about drama and fools arguing over stuff lol.
A lot of my playlist is actually music that doesn't have lyrics. Mostly soundtracks, instrumentals, electronic ambience, that kind of thing. I guess I really like music that imbues certain moods or imagery in my head, like a movie storyline and different settings. That's probably what I pay attention to most.
Not really, at least none that I can think of right now. The bands that I do listen to just so happen to mostly come from the UK. (Portishead, Coldplay, Marconi Union).
Yeah I know what you mean! I wish there were less city lights where I am to be honest. It makes it hard to see things at night and it can be really awe inspiring. Ive only seen the Milky Way once because its too bright here. How is it there?
I'm mostly interested in the enormous size of everything around us. There's just a lot of mystery about what's out there and I personally love thinking about the possibilities. I used to spend a lot of time trying to view things through my cheap telescope but it's been a while lol. Why whats up?
It usually takes me a whole to write a poem but I haven't written any poetry in a long time. I probably should be working on that, I don't usually any rhyming words. Write in a different style. Do you write any poetry?
The games that you play are interesting. :) I'm gonna try playing those games during my next vacation. :)

I used to enjoy sports like football and basketball when I was below 16 years old. After that, I enjoy only badminton and floorball.

How about you? What sports do you play? :)

I like the animation, the comedy that they infused in it and also the imaginary characters. I always admire how they used purely graphics to produce the whole film. :)
    How about you?

Do you like 90s comedy films like Home alone and Sister act? I find they are among the best comedy films of all times.
I used to be quite into Stephen King when I was in my teens.

I also like Iain Banks. Tolkien. Dickens. Terry Pratchett. Jeffrey Archer. Oh, and some Arthur Conan Doyle.

I've been reading more non-fiction as of late - autobiographies, history related books, mainly.

I don't really have a favourite genre when it comes to books, though.
Hiya - sorry for this late reply

I don't take as much of an interest in politics - compared to when I was in my teens.
Definitely agree your point in relation to the benefits system and the issue of big business not paying the correct amount of tax being a much bigger issue than the former.
Yeah, I've notice a lotta TV shows about people on the dole. It's become quite prevalent in the last few years.

I think the changes the government is making to the benefit system won't stop fraud cases. Some bugger'll always try to cheat the system.

If anything, it'll impact disabled people the most.
I think I feel bitter about stuff I should've done but didn't - like moments where my anxiety got the better of me. Or moments where I should've stood up for myself.

Aye, I get frustrated, sure. I find the whole disability benefits issue frustrating, for instance. Because geniunely physically and mentally disabled people are being lumped in with lazy folk who are fit to work but choose not to. Therefore it's assumed all disabled people doing just that - cheating the system.

Despite some, like me, being unable to work due to their disability.
Definitely agree with you on whole being comfy in yer own shoes by focusing on the good things about yerself.

Though, I still struggle comparing myself to other people.

But I try to appreciate what I have. And I'm definitely proud of myself after doing something I was anxious about doing beforehand - or something I felt unconfident about. As I've gotten older I definitely appreciate things more. I don't take things for granted like I used to.
Naw, I've never been one for going to the pub and getting shit-faced. Despite being Scottish. I've also never been yin for whole macho lad culture.

I've spent much o' ma life feelin' like an outsider on account of my physical disability from birth. So ah guess going against the flow has always come naturally to me - not that I'm any better than anyone else. Just that ah've always been seperate fae the flock.

Ah mean, sometimes ah still want to be part of a group but ah don't want to feel pressured into being someone I'm not just to make other people happy or in the hope they'll like me.

I've also felt like ah wus'nae blokey enough to fit in, either. Still feel that way to some extent. But, no, it doesnae bother me as much now, compared to ma teenage years. Now ah just try and accept myself for who I am, rather than comparing myself to others.
I like the 90s comedy films the most. Sister Act series, Home Alone series and also Harry Potter series =)

I like animated films too like Ice age, Madagascar and Finding Nemo. How about you? =)
    Hi Rans =)

Thanks for sharing about your family =) Is your brother working or studying currently? =)

Yup you are right. Having family support is quite comforting. :) My family consist of me, my mum , dad and sister.

Its alright, feel free to ask me anything. :)

But my family is not 100% understanding about my anxiety issues. They are expecting me to overcome my social anxiety very quickly. They think its like a common cold that can get cured easily. And sometimes they say hurtful things to me that I'm not sociable enough. But I get used to it already. How about you? I hope your family is understanding of you.

Oh I like to play retro games like Tetris, Pacman and also Counter-strike.(This is quite a violent game though.) I don't get much free time to play games during my school term. So normally I will play during holidays. :) How about you? Do you like retro games? And do you play games often?
I think we all have a strong need to belong, though. Especially if you've felt like an outsider for most o' yer life.

But I don't see any issue with supporting a certain football team. As long as it means something to you, you enjoy it and yer no' kickin' f _ _ k outta somebody who doesnae support the same team. Then it's perfectly fine.

Same goes with a music group, if that band or singer's music means something to you, or help you get through a difficult time in yer life. Or you just enjoy listening to it and it makes ye happy - that's great.

Ah hope aw that made sense by the way...?
I never really got the whole idea real men like football. Like what does that mean, really? So, if yer not that intae sports or gettin' shit-faced on Friday night, yer no' a man. Since when...? Is that like an unwritten social rule that we've just accepted?

I mean, I've never been made keen on football... Mainly because the whole "Whit team d'you support?" question usually ended wi' you being called a fanny or a word that meant the same. That and football holliganism have really made me kinda take less o' an interest in football, generally.

I mean, it's easy to get caught up in all the excitement - but, the end of the day, it's just a bunch o' folk running about a field kicking a ball into a net or whatever the sport may be. Nothing more than that.
