It looks nice... beaches are at their best when they are deserted. I went to the sea as well last week-end, kayak trip alone... I really needed it. I'm usually patient with the people coming to talk to me while I'm packing my kayak, but this time I was so tired of people that I was barely looking at them while answering their questions that I already answered a million times to a million other people I'm planning to stay alone for the upcoming week end as well.

I think you could do it in 5 years as well as soon as you find a job, and even a lot faster if you stay at your parent's place while you pile your money. I think you should start tomorrow. This way when you leave with your boat I'll still be sailing somewhere and you can meet me there wherever it is and I'll show you all the great lonely spots I found :thumbup:
Hey I don't want to brag, but I don't only have a bed on my boat, I have 2 doubles beds in closed cabins, a stove and oven, a bathroom and an icebox that I might convert into a fridge depending on my motivation. Why do you think I worked my a$$ off for more than 5 years and bought that thing? I CAN live on it. In the middle of nowhere.
