Unfortunately I don't have a morning star, wings, or such an impressive belt. But I did see a red-tailed hawk on a freshly killed squirrel on my birthday. So it could have been worse.

I wonder if you're into music and Metallica in particular. They made this epic instrumental back at their best days. Called "The Call of Ktulu". But it was actually inspired by The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Both are probably my absolute favourite HPL works. I was just listening to it now and remembered how epic it especially sounds to you if you've read the book(s).

I didn't know that. With a little search it's from The Shadow Out of Time. I haven't read The Shadow Out of Time just yet. I was planning to read it right after I finish the book I'm reading currently, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Dude! I love The Call of Cthulhu! And Lovecraft's stuff in general for that matter.
