  • Hi there,
Thank you for the profile comment. I don't know what post you are talking about tho,
Can you tell me what post you mean? I can't remember a post which got outta hand, I'm curious. Anyways, I can relate a lot to what you wrote, I'm sorry to hear you have been dealing with this for such a long time, I hope you will get better times bud.
I have been fighting against sa for years too, It goes with up's and down's. I'll try to remember the up's.
Btw where are you from? Any plans this weekend?

    Hey..take care
    Hey thanks a lot.
Yeah I find I can never put together any sort of whole song. I only play be ear, so I usually just make up some riff or chords and play something I think sounds good over it.
I was using a rock band 3 pro guitar as a matter of fact for that, with mixcraft 5. I never know the technicals of it, so that's why it's pretty much unedited. There was also limited things I could do as far as strumming because it's not the best midi guitar.
I haven't really practiced in a while. I would more if I had a new amp though. I might learn a few more things.
I hope you're able to post some of your songs sometime though. I know you have great taste in music!

Haha hello :) Well, I consider this my online home of sorts :) Feel free to message me anytime.
Dyingtolive, I think some people might rush into marathons too soon. I reckon it can take at least a couple of years to build up to one. Without adequate preparation it might be possible to finish a marathon, but it will hurt. I think it could take another year before I am ready. Currently my long run is up to 25km. I need to build up to at least 30-35km. I'll build up to that slowly.
I think it is a good idea to build up slowly to longer distances. Is Dean Karnazes book good to read? I've thought of getting Brad Hudsons book "Run faster from the 5km to the Marathon" I like to have flexibility in my training.

I ran in my twenties then injured my knees. I used to be more of a middle distance runner back then. I only started again three years ago. I haven't run a marathon yet, but that is a goal I am building up to. I've run 8 half marathons, my best time is 88:13. I've also run heaps of 5 and 10km races (best 19:22 and 39:17). I've also run a few 1500m races on the track.

Good luck with starting running again, I hope you overcome the things holding you back at the moment.
Thanks for reading! And I actually have more of a binge eating disorder, I don't purge afterwards (i have a few times in the past, but not enough to qualify). So just binging is my biggest struggle. And then sometimes I do overexercise to compensate. its a nasty cycle! Do you feel like you've found a healthy balance? Thats what I want to do more than anything but i just cant seem to get there.
Hi Dying to live. Yes, I am a long distance runner. How mcuh running are you doing week? Do you enter races? Cheers Kiwong
