What do you think of children

I'm curious what do you think of children? For me I guess I find them highly annoying. I did date a girl with a 3 year old son. I was very good to him and loved him, but yet he still annoyed me. I work in a rec hall where kids are here all day and they drive me crazy. I can't seem to really talk to them, yet I can talk to adult. I do have regulars that are kids that I talk to though.

My mom was also a babysitter till I was 19 so I had kids in my house everyday. I would always avoid them but I did notice I like talking to kids that are bullied. I feel I can relate to them I guess. One kid my mom babysat was bullied a lot by the others so I'd let him hangout with me in my room and play video games with me.

Yet other kids I cant stand, like I know it's not cause I'm not a people person because I love being with seniors, it's just kids I don't really talk to, hell I don't talk to many adults either.

What are your guys feelings towards kids?

When I'm around kids I try not to make eye contact with them.

Whether they are 1 year old or 90, human beings are inherently whiny and selfish.

Eh, as much as I hate to admit it I'd rather not deal with children either. It takes a great deal of patience. The only times I've felt different is when my nephew starts to ask me questions about science stuff. He saw me playing No Mans Sky and we got to talking about astronomy. It made me happy because most adults either don't care about that stuff or figure they already know everything and want to educate/debate about it. No one has ever just wanted to hear what I have to say about something like that.

I find most other peoples kids quite annoying, but I think most ppl do. Throughout the years I've heard many, many other parents admit this. So I don't think simply because we have SA etc that that makes us any different in that regard.

I have kids and love them to bits. But at times even they annoy the hell outta me! lol :)
But I'd die to protect them.

So yea, kids are annoying. It's their job :)

I'll be the odd one out here: I like kids. Bodes well for what I've chosen as my profession, I think.

Kids are annoying. The parents can be worse though. I was friends with a parent once. All they ever did was send me pics and videos on facebook of their dumb kid doing dumb stuff. On multiple occasions I told them that I don't wanna see pictures of their dumb kid and their reply was always something like "But she's so cute!"

I went on vacation for a while to visit my dads mother. My grandmother pretty much in the same property as my uncle but they live in different houses. My uncle has 6 kids. One of them is the oldest and moved away. The other one is in collage and was in town visiting family as well. Now, as for the other 4 kids, well, the third oldest is around 11. Shes well behaved and respectful and I can tolerate her presence. As for the other 3 kids, my gosh, they are annoying.

They lack discipline, they're obnoxious, and rude. I'm not the only one who thinks that way about those kids. The 4th oldest is around 10. He's really disrespectful and LOUD. Me, being a socially withdrawn guy that prefers a calm atmosphere, I couldn't tolerate him. My uncles aren't really good a disciplining kids. I even notice my aunt getting upset about their kids behavior She would just yell at them and tell them to be quiet The kids would obviously ignore her and would carry on with their mischief. As for my uncle, he would pretty much be at work and would return until dawn. He too would yell at the kids, but they would ignore them.

In conclusion, I don't really like kids. If they're loud and obnoxious, I wouldn't stand being close to them.

I don't mind them, but I'm not that great at taking care of them. Same reason I don't like dogs, I'm not a very high-energy person and kids get wild.

Aye, same here. Also, my appearance is pretty off-putting to kids. The fact my niece cries everytime she sees me has convinced me that's the case. So, I just tend to avoid them.

My 3rd cousin seems to like me some reason, though. But she's kinda annoying. She doesn't shut up, gawks at me and always askin' me questions about my "funny legs" - that's my disability to likes o' you n' me - which aren't exactly the easiest questions to answers.

Lets not forget that as far as behavior goes, kids are mainly a product of the parenting they have received.

I don't think it's totally fair to hate on the kids, it's more the upbringing they have received.

The only thing worse than annoying children it is the ugly parents who live vicariously through them.

Nothing wrong with that. Somebody's gotta stop them from turning into mass shooters when they grow up lol.
