How are you feeling?

I didn't get much sleep last night. Couple that with screwed-up dreams about guns and death, waking up at 1am thirsty as a camel, then 3am for no reason, then on and off until my alarm, and I am one tired guy. *exhales deeply*

Regarding hobbies... Well, I haven't been playing my guitar for awhile. Or reading much, lately. And I’ve been meaning to get back into painting and drawing again, but I’m having a hard time finding inspiration. Not to mention my confidence issues when it comes to my creativity.
Ah, yeah. "Been meaning to" get into this or that. I know what that's like. I haven't been playing the drums much lately, either.

It's unfortunate you're not confident about your creativity, mate. It's a good outlet to have so it's upsetting that you're discarding that because you're not happy with it. Hopefully you find that inspiration again.

Neither do I. I do find the socializing aspect awkward, though. I guess my social anxiety becomes really obvious to family this time of year. Especially around relatives I rarely ever see or spend time with.
Yeah, if there's lots of family members you only see during important holidays it does get tough to get along with them. Maybe it won't be so bad this year? Who knows.

I know it's a good outlet to have. It's just that I have a tendency - especially when it comes to painting or drawing - to start something but never actually finish a piece of artwork. As well as having an idea in my head but never getting it down on paper or canvas - I never know where to begin in most cases.

I feel pretty good. I hate snow so I was initially annoyed waking up to 5 feet of it, but having milk and cookies while watching family guy in pajamas makes it all worthwhile:D

Beginning a creative project is always the hardest and most tedious. For example, I have an idea for a novel in my head that I have no motivation to get down on paper because I know the work involved in getting it right.

I can see that it's the same for you with your painting. You get some inspiration to begin it but never to finish it. Maybe you haven't found the exact idea you're looking for in a painting yet, and you're still feeling out some ideas first.

I know that when I play the drums and I'm out of creativity, I just play anything that comes to mind and just bash. Impromptu creations of drum beats and sometimes I can feel better for it, especially if I play well. Maybe for you, you could just get a blank canvas and paint whatever, and see what comes up. Just fly from the bristles of your paintbrush, as it were. :)

Panicky.

My credit card got hacked and some ****ing bastard ran up $1000 of charges on it.

I have to go down to the bank today to fill out dispute forms, and it's all just so frightening it's hard to go. I mean, if they don't reverse the charges, I'll be seriously hosed.

Stress stress stress.

Wow, that's pretty terrible, Aletheia. ::(: However, they're going to know it's not you that made those purchases so you should have no trouble getting your money back.

A hacker stole over $1000 from my bank account via PayPal a couple of years ago and I got all that back after a small investigation from PayPal. I hope it's not too stressful for you.

^ Sounds like you had a pretty good morning (or day?). :D

I'm completely worn out. My brother wanted me to go to the mall with him today to finish up Christmas shopping. For some unknown reason I agreed and when we got there it was so entirely packed. It was worse today than it was on Black Friday. Insane! And I still have to go back out with my dad this week. -.- Hopefully by then it won't be nearly as bad.

I feel like something major missing in me. Like am arm... but not of physical nature. What makes people happy makes me fake that I'm exited about it 99.9% and I don't get what to be excited all about?
