UGH. *facepalm* people can be such insensitive clods sometimes.

I just wanted to crawl into a hole and die, everyone in my class laughed at me and I was bullied about it for weeks afterwards. The teachers at the school thought I had a learning disability because I was so quiet and inactive in class, but in reality it was just because I was utterly terrified due to my SA. At that time i didn't know what SP was and I haven't even begun to think that I had a disorder. Most people just thought I was weird and lazy and as a result all I got was negative comments and discouragement.

"You could get any girl in the school if actually ever talked to them"

My friends talking about how all these chicks thought I was hot (which I was skeptical of) and the fact that I literally never talked to any girls.

It feel good at first but then it was crushing because I knew my SA was far too extreme to do anything about it. It was a self fulfilling prophecy and I essentially went through high school without ever talking to girls (or as little as possible).

Back in elementary school (I think it was around the second grade) I used to have a really weird laugh that sounded like a dog barking and the kids used to call me "Kibbles n' Bits". They even made a song about it. I can't recall how it goes though. My laugh sounds NOTHING like that now, but I'm still really self-conscious about my voice and laugh to this day because of that.

Now that I think about it, it was sort of funny. I'd laugh at me too if I wasn't me (...that made no sense.. ::p:)

Great, now I have that damn Kibbles n' Bits commercial stuck in my head...
