'You always think you're better than everyone else, but in reality nobody even likes you.'

honey the girl that said something exactly like this to me in high school ended up attending graduation with a broken nose...it was the least i could do for such a darling comment right? ;)

My manager always calling me Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. Because sometimes I had my head down and one day she asked how I was doing and I said OK and she says OK imitating Eeyore's voice. She also was the one who went behind my back and told them to let me go even though I was offered a promotion because I find it suspicious that you tell me your going to lunch way earlier then your usual time and not a minute later the boss comes in and tells me that there letting me go. Couldn't even stick around for it.

I also remember back in high school. I was in my class and these two kids were talking to each other and one of them said" I heard that if you masturbate a lot your face breaks out". Then he looks at me with a smirk on his face and says " you should really stop" since I had Rosacea and acne. I still do and then they both laughed. I hated high school.

Getting called Pampers (was a play on my name) for 12 years of schooling because I was 'like a giant dirty baby'

A girl in my first year of college told a whole class that myself and my friend, "were nice girls. but didn't have what it took to make it." She basically went on to attack my whole program over the course of the 3 years, but still being one of the first ones she singled out was pretty horrifying. Specially when you don't have much confidence to begin with.

i remember on career day in the 9th grade I was excited after hearing about graphic design so I told my arts teacher about it and she told me that I could never do a job like that. This comment has made me insecure about jobs to this day, and possible kept me from following my dream.

oh that's so mean:( what a sucky teacher.

reminds me of my mother...whenever i'd tell her what I wanted to be she'd always say something like, "oh that's requires A LOT of schooling...you'd never make it."

*sigh* people just don't realize that what they say can really change the course of a person's life.

None of the adults I grew up with, including my parents, ever gave me any encouragement to prosper to something. Whenever I felt excited by something they would always shut me down with snarky comments. When I was in high school and my SA was at it's worst one of my teachers always asked me to demonstrate something or read aloud, he probably thought it would help me build confidence, but all it did was to make me look stupid in front of the entire class. He even asked me why I was so shy and scared all the time in front of the entire class.
