I think you should wear whatever you wan't to wear.Like others have said hopefully that way you will feel happier about your appearance if you feel confident in what your wearing.

Though I appreciate there is more pressure on girls to look certain way's and stuff,so I can appreciate sometimes it is important what other people think.I know they are quite different styles but maybe you could strike a balance between the two?And there is nothing to say you have to stick to one style all the time.

I´m really self concious about my appearance, because I don´t chose a good style to wear yet. People get very confused when they see a cool tomboy chick wearing men´s shirts, and the next day they see a girl in a dress. I´m afraid that people only want one side of me. And that makes me anxious.

And i´m afraid people will think I look to much guyish when I dress like a tomboy, In the past i had short hair and weared baggy jeans and men shirts, people bullied me alot. And when i weared a dress or a skirt boys were nice to me... Like whaaat?! But i like girls.. So maybe they like this style. But i'm not sure. My mom says I look the best in girly clothes.

I personally prefer your tomboy look - very cute! But I agree with what most others are saying, you should wear what you feel the most comfortable in at the time - whatever you wake up and feel like wearing - wear it! You'll feel happier and more confident that way :). Don't worry about what other's think or especially what you're Mum says - since when do Mums ever know what looks good?! ::p:

If I was taking you to a social event of a certain magnificence I'd prefer the girly look. If you were planning on helping with home repairs or yard work I'd prefer the tomboy look. But only because I don't think heels would go too well with a ladder. Since you look happier in the tomboy pic, I'll pick that one. ;)

If, however, you really wanted to impress me you'd not wear anything at all. But if you approached me in the buff, I'd probably think you were totally nuts and run like hell.

I prefer girly. Personally, I like a professional look for work, black skirt, fitted top etc, but otherwise pretty casual on other occasions.

both are working for you! it's ok to vary style as long as it's appropriate for occasion. if i'm walking my dog i might be tomboy, wearing scrubs. if i am going out i will dress up.

i think girls that are more tomboyish tend to be more grounded and are less concerned with superficial girly cliches like gossip and dressing girly and packing on the make-up etc not that there is anything wrong with it but its just what i notice ..

i knew this girl who you would think looking at her that she'd be girly but she was a tomboy and liked dinosaur jr and dressed in boy clothes ..so instead of noticing that she was a girl you noticed more of the person and she was sort of this neutral being in a way. neither that boyish or girly either..

i think when girls dress in skimpy clothes or girly clothes and talk high pitch girly then you see more of the gender element coming out because they sort of ecsentuate it. highly testosterone men are the same. which can sometimes be uncomfortable and hides the real person for some odd reason. its a barrier to the person behind the mask.

i think men that are more feminine are the ones that really lose out. i think most people are put off by that...

I like a girly girl with a tomboy streak to her.

Girls who fall into either category are boring and even annoying, honestly.

I like a girl who likes to dress in pink but wouldn't mind playing baseketball with you or who wouldn't mind watching a boxing match with you.

I think it's normal for people to categorise you into a type so they know how to treat you and it makes them think they understand you a bit better, and clothes help with that stereotyping. I do it to, I know it's wrong but it's an instinct of mine. After talking and getting to know people though what they wear matter less and less. I notice more of what strangers wear and more of what people say when they are up close.

I don't particularly stick to a type, sometimes I look very girly sometimes I look casual - I am more indie casual cool, the cool part being subject to debate lol.

I agree with the other posters, it's your preference that matters.
I do think you look attractive in both though. I'm female and like to dress in jeans and tshirts myself so I have a personal preference for the first picture.

Why not combine both? There's no law stating (at least not in the Netherlands) that you have to choose either. :)

I like the first one better! It just looks more laid back. Though I don't think it's imperative to choose to be just one or the other - just be yourself!

You make it worse for yourself. Ive noticed everyone of your threads is analyzing yourself. I think your mind is in this fantasy TV world and you wanna be someone else. You are alot better looking than alot of girls, just accept yourself and focus on more important things. Think of things that you value rather than trying to be something you're not.

I like a combination of both (for myself)...At the same time! :D

Girly makeup, jeans, messy hair, band t-shirt...Or Natural makeup, a dress and ratty sneakers. I think whatever you feel more comfortable in is best. If all the guys (or girls...Did you say you liked girls?) in the world liked girls to be in dresses and skirts and feminine clothing, but you didn't like wearing such things, you shouldn't wear them. If you feel more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt then go with that. Whatever makes you happier. Whatever makes you confident, because ultimately that's what people look for in a person.

But, on you...I do like both styles. I'd pick whichever you felt prettiest in. :)

It depends what mood im in I usally go fo the tomboy look just cuz i feel more comfortable in it. In your pics u look good in both but i prefer u in tomboy chic!
