What is your fashion connection to SA

Yeah so do I.. I also use glasses to hide my eyes and hair to do the same.. I like long sleeves but Texas is hot so... yeah

I hate shoes and go without as much as possible. I like my clothes worn and real. I do not like to pretend to be other than I am, cause that would be not me. And I am already only me, in an unofficial capacity..

Anyone else? I am very curious!

I used to wear lots of dark clothes. Black was my favorite color. I didn't want people to notice my boobs or butt. I don't wear skirts because I can't stand whistles or suggestive remarks. And no makeup for me. Overall, I dressed to be invisible.

I don't have much of a sense of fashion either, although I have been a little better about it lately. The majority of my clothes are black or greyish and not too noticeable. I don't cover myself up quite as much as I used to but I'm still quite modest in my dress. I'm extremely sensitive to materials and whatnot so comfort is huge for me. I can't wear jeans or stuff with scratchy tags. I also always wear big sunglasses whenever I go out side, I like hiding behind them.

I wear decent clothes. Nice ones. I try to go on a clothes shopping spree for myself once a year. I find wearing somthing newer and nicer but that also FEELS like me makes me that much more comfortable in my own skin and less self conscious. And i just FEEL good.

Plus it also helps i find a cute salegirl to help dress me LOL. Women are so much better at that then guys.

This pretty much describes me, too, except the boobs - or in ma case, man-boobs :sarcastic: - butt, whistles, suggestive remarks and makeup. :giggle:

not actually Fiona Apple
I don't take much notice to what I wear, but I try not to stand out while still liking the outfits. I wear almost exclusively jeans, and cargo-like shorts in hot weather, plain tan and white colors. Most of my shirts and sweatshirts are simple, with either nothing on them or a logo. Just very ordinary and plain, in color and design.

Mine is probaby the weirdest. I am a male but I do female transformations with female latex masks, wigs, prosthetics, clothes and photoshop. It gives me a new identity so I don't have to face my real, pathetic self. Message me if you are interested to know more.

Do you find this to be crippling or theraputic? I am very curious to see a picture

I think that we as a culture overstate gender, and thus make it more of an issue than it needs to be..

I have always felt a connection to both genders but I am anything but one when you look at me so I do not have much of a choice..

I want to just be me..

I've noticed that my clothing style draws attention to myself sometimes. It's fun when you're told you look intimidating.

It only bothers me when some talk to me like a teenager and say it's just a phase, or assume I'm in some urban tribe, trying to belong somewhere. It's just the way I am, I don't need anyone's approval.

It also bothers me when I'm told that I should dress according to my gender. Nope, I find no enjoyment in showing my a$$ and breasts, thank you.

About trying to hide something... Maybe. I don't like my scars to be visible. I don't like to show my figure. But I also find that clothing style to be comfortable.

It wear things that are comfortable. I don't find those clothes ugly, but public opinion differs. It can spark some anxiety when I'm the minority in a certain grouped opinion.

I like wearing sunglasses when I am outdoors...I would wear them indoors too if it wasn't stupid. Um, I avoid wearing heels. Those are the only two things I can think of when it comes to the fashion connection to SA. Otherwise, I wear what I want, which is usually girly and colorful.

I just tend to wear jumpers a lot. Anything that at least has sleeves. I don't like having my whole arms bare. And I always wear pants when I'm not in school uniform. I don't look good in skirts, shorts, dresses.

I don't really have a sense of fashion when it comes to dressing myself. I don't look good in lots of types of clothes, so I limit myself to some very drab styles. Most of my clothes are grayscale. One time I went to a party thrown by my friend. Everyone else was wearing dresses and high heels. I was wearing jeans and a large jumper a few sizes too big. Felt so bad.

I only wear what I find comfortable, and couldn't care less about fashion  I prefer large t-shirts (or jumpers) that will cover my body enough. Most of my clothes are blue (or blue-ish) as it's my favourite colour and I find it almost "protective", calming... :idontknow: However, in the summer I also like wearing more colourful stuff :)
