Thankyou for the laugh kiwong...Theres always room for lyrical humour!
I think naturally the people i talk to take the lead as they can mentally tell im uncomfortable. But otherwise a simple "how are things?" develops into them muttering on about nothing for a while...time matters in this case, the more short questions you ask the less you have to speak.
BUT if its people close - hell theres no stopping me - art,MUSIC,films,theatre,books,politics(boo).. i think if u have a passion u wont shut up!

I usually end up talking about falconry, World War II, or heavy metal. Keep in mind that I have no practical experience with two of those three things. Or maybe I'll lecture on the minutiae of some guitarist's rig to someone who's never even heard the guy's music before.
Sometimes I even tell people how Orion's nuts are on the ceiling in my bedroom. See, there are these two glow-in-the-dark star stickers that have been there since '99. And they're below Orion's belt....

for me its usually music or tv shows ... i don't really care much about politics which i'd like to be more interested in and my knowledge of history isn't so great i suppose i just find it all a bit confusing and scattered for me to really pay attention to ..
so yeh, music and tv, sports and just general observations of what is going on around me, not really into gossip which alot of people seem to want to talk about.
