When did you last get a GOOD night of sleep?

I sleep very little, usually don't go to bed before 2 or 3am and then I'm usually up at 8am.
I find it very difficult to sleep, my mind is constantly moving at a zillion miles an hour and I can't stop it. Even when I do fall asleep, if anything wakes me, say even just an hour later, thats it, I'm awake for good, no going back to sleep again.
Guess I'm just kinda used to it, it doesn't bother me or hinder me in any way.

well it's been years really. i sleep every night, but my dreams are so vivid that it seems as if i never have any restful sleep. i wake up exhausted usually, and in summer i can be soaking wet from sweating, because my dreams were disturbing. I can't remember when last i had a truly great nights sleep. in the past few years my best sleep would occur when i take a nap in the afternoon.

last day and night , i slept in the afternoon, and slept whole night
because a friend stayed here in the weekends , i was really tired lol
So last night :)

I used to have a lot of trouble sleeping, I think I did make a thread on it once.... but yeah now I do okay, I excercise before bed so I'm tired, and then in combination with my sleeping pills I'm able to get to sleep.

Maybe you could try buying some sleep medication if you can!

For me it's impossible to get to sleep before 11 pm (unless I'm really sick or something). Just like LookingForward, I can't get my mind to calm down and when I wake up early I can't fall asleep anymore.

Last night for example, I lay awake from midnight until 4 am, although I got up at 8 am the previous day.

I don't know, but it certainly wasn't last night. I didn't get home until 5:45 A.M. and am paying the price for it today.

That's pretty rare. I had a handful of good nights when I went camping in the summer. I slept ssoooo well in the trailer. The skinny bunk bed was way more comfy than my bed at home. The fresh air probably helped too. I'm constantly waking up in the middle of night at home. At the lake I actually slept for long stretches and felt rested after. I badly need a new bed. Unfortunately my room is disaster and I can't get new furniture until I clean it, which is next to impossible.::(:

Despite my normal sleeping patern, I slept for about 6 to 7 hours last night (if ya count me hitting the alarm clock a number of times). However, I feel refreshed right now and I haven't even had breakfast yet.

Most of the time I have 9 or more hours of sleep and takes me a while to actually get out of bed unless I know I HAVE to call my boyfriend at a certain time.

Last night. BUT the thing with me is I won't be able to fall asleep until about 4:00 Am and then I wake up at around 12 which is a really bad habbit.

last night i got a very good nights sleep. Have you ever heard of dreams in which you can literally control everything that happens? Well for the first time in my life i had one of those. It was insane because i knew i was dreaming, and was conciously having thoughts it seemed like. What an experience, i just wish it didnt end so soon. It is very easy to wake up in a state like this, so i can remember literally getting pulled out of my dream. I was in a van driving and i came across two million year old ruins (in the middle of society) and i wanted to get out and walk around.....so i did lol... and i could mke out detail in this dream that was remarkably realistic. The sky, the clouds, the surface of the earth, the ruins themselfs were like they were real.

I usually get four hours sleep a day. The last time I had a good nights sleep? It must have been when I was on a trip in 2003. Perhaps being away from home made me feel more at ease, thus I could sleep better. I've often heard people say they sleep better when they are away from home.

It's believed that dreams whereby you exhibit conscious awreness can be utilized to enter the astral plain, i.e., leave your body. I had a very strange experience in this regard.
