^like coyote and remus? Do they get paid as super moderators?

I want an IT dream job w/ as little human contact as possible. If I can work from home, that would be great.

In the industry i wanted to work in i just didn't have the ego or a bossy enough personality to really get anywhere which takes a fair bit of self confidence to reach and certain personalities are more suited to it. I just don't have that, even though i worked hard, its just not enough. You have to also be able to adapt to cliques, know how and when to communicate with people in the industry and at work. You have to reach a point where you are respected somehow. That's far from a simple process.

So i'm back at the drawing board working in temping instead.

Most people my age that i know have pursued their careers and seem to progress really well with ease, they never really take a backwars step and are getting married, owning homes. So christmas and birthdays are just embarrassing for me. Because everyone is so successful in their career and i'm sort of thrown out to the sharks.

So i think its definitely a self esteem issue. If you have low self esteem then it makes things really hard in any industry even if you put your head down and chip away and work hard. Ask questions, eventually the company wants you to be a leader or a supervisor etc, and that it takes courage to do that.

I've never been passionate enough about a career, i mean its a way of earning money, but nothing really jumped out at me to take on. Because careers seem so forced to me compared to say general interests.

I've been semi passionate about hobbies, otherwise i'm just really placid and complaicent about them.

Also you have to have energy, sustained energy to succeed. which means emotional energy and a spark, or motivation.

Still trying to figure out how to reach that.

But my dream jow would be to make music instrumental themes for tv shows. Or to be a Mister fix It. Maintenance guy.

I would love to own a coffee shop or something. I've always thought of owning some sort of food business, but I'm now leaning more toward wanting a coffee/tea shop, filled with awesome food, and shelves of books. A coffee shop I go to occasionally offers a huge variety of teas and flavored coffees, a small array of vegan baked goods, and the entire wall of their back room is filled with books and tables and chairs where you can just sit and read for hours. I love that place and would love to own something similar someday.

my dream job is to surf SPW and get paid for it
^ Yeah that'd be nice too.

oooh what a fun question..

Probably a politician - or some kind of social justice advocate/lobbyist.
I quite like working with people - well.... certain kinds of people....people with mental problems or people who are poor.

It will never happen though. I lack charisma - and I am far to bashful, awkward and self doubting to achieve such a goal - and I am too laid back, - I just want to things my way, I am not very good at pretending and playing the game - perhaps something along the aforementioned lines but not so grand in scale..

the conditions of my contract do not allow me to discuss the details of my compensation and benefits package (so as not to engender distrust among my fellow moderators), but i can assure you that the terms are quite generous

i'd like to be an adventurer who explores uncharted lands

or maybe a pirate

I am willing to bet that you're more than intelligent enough! Don't sell yourself short.

I'm sure there are a lot of other jobs supporting prosecutors that you could do where your SA wouldn't hinder you. Worth checking into.
