I do try that, although I get unusually upset when something doesn't turn out and I have to toss it. Because of that, I can't relax when cooking and I have to hope it turns out.

Thanks. I have had that thought but I am not well-adjusted myself, plus at this age I am too young to be taken seriously. I need at least another 10-15 years before that can happen. Maybe in the future, though.
Well, now's the time to start getting whatever training/education you need. Maybe this is something you can pursue as a long-term goal while you're still at your current job. I made a career change quite far along in my life, so it can be done! :)

Heh, maybe. :) I do like cooking stuff and having it come out, though. I could NEVER be a chef.

You're right. I'm so indecisive, though, and I constantly wonder if anything I pursue will be worth it. Of course it can be done. What did you do late in your life?

I get it - I'm a perfectionist too! But, never say never! ;)

I went from many years in finance/accounting to the medical field. Follow what interests you! :)

Forcing my cat to spend quality time with me, curling up in bed with the air-con on and watching videos that make me laugh/cat videos on YouTube. 100% effective!

Sailing. My cousin has a boat he never uses, so I take it out occasionally when I want to be alone.

It's done wonders for my anxiety.

Also lots of alcohol, but I'm trying to find alternatives for that.

Music. It can make me feel better or make me feel worse. I'll still listen to it anyway.
It also makes me feel better when I'm talking to a friend I really want to talk to.
