You like your thrash. :) Early Sadus and Aspid are some of my favourites, as is the mighty Sodom.

Lol Mikey you crazy metal connaisseur
When you have nothing else in your life, you're going to really enjoy something.

Haven't heard that Ahab album in forever. I haven't heard their new one.

Also Darkspace are re-releasing their demo, Dark Space -1. I would be keen on getting that one when it's out...whenever that will be.

I haven't listened to Gojira in a long time and I never listened to Gojira much, but that was my favorite song when I did.

I think there is a new album coming soon?

I like varying sub genres of metal/rock/punk kind of thing. Right now, I'm listening to "A Skylit Drive", "Modern Day Escape" and "Escape The Fate" on shuffle. Really enjoy the more "emo" kind of scene too. "Snow White's Poison Bite" is one of my favourite's.

It's Not Ironic, It's Obvious - A Skylit Drive

I doubt many people would think of "metalheads" as being able to be shy...but ehh, I guess there's a few of us.

Do you guys dress/look like a metalhead? I for sure don't. Every I meet assumes I'm super fragile and apologize if they swear infront of me. It's annoying, I feel it prevents me from getting to know other people with my taste in music. (music is probably my favorite thing in the world)

Hey Jayne, I'm new too. Yeh I'm like 5'6 and fine build, with what I think is a childish looking face. No nice chiseled features for me

I'm more into punk, grunge, psychedellic and new wave, but I love metal as well..

Psychedelic is freaking awesome. It's the reason why I would want to learn how to play a bass/ electric guitar. I love blues too, I think it's why I like psychedelic rock so much. I like Electro-clash which is new wave mixed with punk rock and synth music. Garage, alternative, some punk and I never heard of the Luna chicks, but I liked that song. Heavy metal? I like is SOAD and there are a few songs I come across that I like, but I'm more into the other stuff.

If you want, I can link you to my youtube account and you can listen to a huge list of my favourite music.. The Lunachicks have been a favourite of mine for years, I remember people making fun of my music in school, especially in the late 90's-2000.. People still mock my music, but experience has taught me the louder it is, the less I care what they are saying. An online friend of mine of the band Neon Legion gave me a guitar because we were chatting online and he found out about my life long interest in the guitar; so the first song I learned (by ear, I can't read or write music) was Light as a Feather by the Lunachicks.. I'm not very good, but I do try. I think Bikini Kill does some electro-clash (Yeah, I know what it is..lol) I don't care for screamo-esque music, it has to be somewhat melodic for me to enjoy.. The past week or so I have been listening mainly to Black Sabbath and yesterday was mostly Babes in Toyland. I am not a big SOAD fan, I am more oriented to punk than metal (and not Emo punk as it mainly focuses on vocals) Lyrics to me do not mean as much as the actual song itself.. I feel my music and the majority of the time it must be dark as that is how I feel.

How about this song?
