settling for women

I have sa. It's much better than it used to be. I am looking for a girlfriend,but never attract the ones I'm interested in. Should I settle for less than what my heart desires?

The way this question is worded kind of rubs me the wrong way. No, you should never settle, because that implies a certain level of disrespect for your partner, and that would not be fair to them.
But it is okay to adjust some of your expectations. Relationships are a package deal. I'm insanely attracted to brown-eyed men, but my blue-eyed guy is an amazing person. It would be ridiculous to say that I am "settling" for him.

I guess, generally speaking, if you're not attracted to someone, why would you consider entering a relationship with them in the first place? That's the part I don't get.

Nor did the OP follow up his initial post with anything else. I'm not sure why you'd say someone needs professional help based on one single question..?

I agree. The OP's question is valid. I don't see why he would need profesional help. Because he is a man with requirements? I have seen many women with a list of requirements do they need profesional help too?

My first reaction to this was a bit annoyed. But then I realized I'm probably being like the SA men who get mad when they hear me say I hate the idea of a man staring at me and approaching me or trying to flirt. Ugggh that makes me ridiculously anxious.
So I'll try to be fair. I don't think you should settle unless the woman is OK you're settling. And we both know that's probably not going to happen. Once you conquer your SA you can approach the women who do interest you and see what happens.
