I've watched far too many movies over the past couple of days.

Ice Age: Continental Drift 6.5/10
Eh. Not bad, not particularly mind blowing.

Captain America: The First Avenger 7.5/10
I enjoy Marvel-verse and love playing "Spot the Stan Lee Cameo!"

^ I want to see that...so it was good? I hear Ann Hathaway is good in it .. was she? lol

yes, her acting was very good, and i was surprised at how well she sang

same with Hugh Jackman - they should both get some award nominations

Looper - 8/10

It has a few plot holes. Once your future self gets to the present, there's really no foundation as to why things happening to your present-self would affect your future-self. When you're both in the same time you're two separate people (albeit identical with the exception of age). You're not linked as it were. The time travel bit was a bit corny and loose in concept I feel, it also didn't employ chaos theory at all, which always annoys me about movies involving time travel. And some things didn't logically end up.

But, if you step out of nerd-mode and fixate on the story rather then the science, it is a great movie. It has a very gripping plot. And especially the first part of the movie, man, that was absolutely morbid. You don't see anything gory, but the implication of it was more then enough. I'm not easily queesy, but **** me sideways. Holy cow.

It really is an awesome film.

Confused is an understatement. It's like Inception and Memento rolled into one big mind****. But I was definitely interested and I think I'll have to watch it again.

Moonrise Kingdom 10/10.

I really enjoyed this movie and I usually find Wes Anderson movies to be a little too weird.
It had great acting, humor, and a wonderful story. Plus, we can relate to the protagonist as he is an outsider who nobody else understands.

Ice Age 4 - 4/10

It's shame when a movie that looks like this doesn't aspire to be more then just a kids movie. The writing was lazy and indulged in way too many clichés. I remember really liking the first Ice Age.

Tangled - 8/10

Having an animated movie marathon this evening. I really liked Tangled. Very funny and very wholesome.
