very interesting. ..but its really not all that surprising considering the fact that J.R.R Tolkien was a devout catholic . You can also see allegory to the seven sins and seven virtues in LOTR as well.

Starting to wonder why I've been so reluctant to actually write poetry. Maybe cuz the vunerability of it? :idontknow:

But, man, it's never felt so good to get my feels out doing something creative and y'know... Got some songs lyrics out of it, too. :perfect:

I am hoping all these deaths are faked for REAL and Tom Petty lives on in his cousin Betty or something...like Prince and his "sister" or Michael Jackson and his burn victim friend Dave Dave (WTF) smh that's all i do anymore smh....

Gone too soon. Still doing his thing, up till about a week ago. A totally classy musician he was. He worked with the greats (eg Stevie Nicks, The Traveling Wilburys), and he was great.

I must listen to his greatest hits again.

I had so many hopes that this year would turn out great for me. A year where things finally changed for the better, after the hell I put myself through for the whole of 2016. But, no... It's all gone to sh!t, as per usual. Don't know why I even bother making the effort anymore.

America is already a soft dystopia

When i drink alcohol, it doesn't make me sociable, but exactly the opposite. But since i only drink at home, alone, it's okay. And i just have to refrain from drinking whenever the very rare occasion of a social event occurs, which in a typical year is once.
With a social life like this, it's NO WONDER i don't meet women! lol

It's times like this that I wish ah was born deaf. The f*ckin' wracket! :kickingmyself:

5 members of a dysfunctional family living together in a 3 bedroom house? Aye, that'll work... in a sitcom!

And who cares if the middle child is a narcissistic, psychotic adult with a childish temper, who also turns violent whenever you say something she doesn't agree with.
 :omg: And I'm "difficult" to live with... :idontknow:

One of my work colleague likes to tease as is his nature but recently I've started to find it annoying and begin to feel paranoid about whether my colleagues are talking about me behind my back. One if my work colleague I have helped massively and it would be upsetting if I found out she had been ridiculing me in z derogatory way.

The older I get , the more I just want to be a kid again.

but I can't lose sight of my goals.

I would love to do something in counter-terrorism but I'm sure the job requirements would be brutal....but maybe ill get there.

This might be a really stupid thing to take pride in but, I managed to restore and upgrade the operating system on my laptop today. 😀 And I haven't restored a computer in a few years - didn't even have to refer to a how to guide, either. :perfect:

The yazidi's are a religious group living in parts of the middle east. Many of then were murdered or taken prisoner when ISIS began to spread throughout Iraq and Syria...

its not the first time this kind of thing has happened and it probably won't be the last.

...and that pisses me off.
