Don't believe anything you read or see on the internet. The level of fakeness from people is beyond anything we have ever experienced.
Case in Point-this current job I am at looked like a beautiful farm with intelligent, and caring people running it, to find out even a war combat vet employed here said it the worst he has ever seen.

Sadly the fact that evil people are so good a lying makes it easy for them to put forward such a brilliant "show" of being wonderful people.

Having a boyfriend (or girlfriend) from another country/culture means you always have the differences between yours and theirs to talk about. I've known mine for over five years and we STILL talk about his country versus mine That's pretty funny.

Pretty much. Well, fae my perspective, at least. Since the fear n' dread is still there. And I'd imagine others are quite frighten of me as well, y'know? Since I'm quite tall, bearded, fat and permanently tanned.

But then that could just me assuming that? Since, y'know, being racially bullied from a young age has made me very aware of how people can make assumptions about a person based on just their appearance.

It's sad how normal people allow themselves to be bullied and have their language shaped by the progressive left out of fear of being called racist, sexist, etc. Does anyone really believe those people policing jokes and costumes are really about helping others and doing something good, and not about having control over other people's lives?

Well it depends on what this costume is. Some jokes can be pretty tasteless and it can demonstrate a lack of empathy for whomever the joke is on. I saw a guy this past Halloween that was dressed as a kid that got killed here a few years back. His face was painted brown and he was wearing a hoodie with bullet holes in it and was carrying a bag of skittles in hand. I bet He found it pretty funny. I doubt the kids family did though.

Naw, but that's a prime example of someone going outta their way to be offensive for the sake of it, to me. I know where yer coming from. And the example you gave for the Halloween costume is pretty tasteless, yer right. Given the insensitivity of it, and obviously the guy was going for shock humour which can easily backfire.

I was just speaking generally when talking about people being offended by Halloween constume and jokes. Since social justice types tend to go outta their way to tell us what is and isn't offensive to them, and therefore should be offensive to everyone, does that make sense? :question:

Yeah I see what you mean. Plus to be honest, its really hard to tell jokes without upsetting at least one person. Like that comedian said. Or some will just not find it funny but will act indignant just to be aholes. Coexisting is tricky, which is why I suck at it lol.

A classic case of something I can quantify and something he can't. I'm smiling at customers and not getting smiles back and greeting the customers at the door to battle my social anxiety every day and my boss says I'm not being sociable enough and I'm sabotaging myself and his business that way. Mother****er, don't give me access to the cash register at night all the time when we close, because I can quantify how well our restaurant is doing. Don't blame our lag in sales on me, when I've poured my blood and sweat and always have come in for others on my day off. Give me words you never keep, forget to pay the electric bill more than once for the restaurant, forget your own employees schedules and ask me when someone works, and have your employees train others for you and ****ing tell me I'm sabotaging your business because I don't make customers feel good? ****ing find a way to quantify it and I'll keep doing my best.

I agree that many people become self centered when they become filthy rich but I don't think every rich person in the world is corrupt. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are two of the richest men in history and they have built schools, donated so much to charity, and have shared so many of their secrets with the world to become rich too

Kinda off topic, but one thing Ive always been curious about is why so many celebrities fall into drug addiction. I wonder if they get bored from having too much money and want to get high just to feel alive or something.
