How could anyone think I was evil?!

Cats have a way of knowing. You often don't know it yourself until you've got a cat on your lap, and you just spontaneously start to laugh maniacally. Before you know it you'll somehow have enough money to build a grand fortress and shoot for global domination.

It's worth it, though. Cuz' cat hugs are awesome. :B

Dog hugs are awesomer. And they kiss better. And they're more considerate lovers..... I mean love givers. They're more loving. And considerate ;)

I've seen some people say that this site doesn't really help them, or others even complain about it and say it's a joke.

Well, there may not be a solution here for you - it is, after all, a forum, where people discuss things, not a therapy program for social anxiety.

But what I like about it the most is that, at least here you have a community of sorts that understands you. Where else are you going to find a group of socially anxious people all interacting together and discussing things and having fun? Sure, there are some support groups out there, but they're few and far between.

Just was thinking about how grateful I am that this site exists. It's not a solution to my problems by any means, but it offers comfort, among other things. I hope to be a part of it for a long time (even if I "conquer" social anxiety).

I couldn't agree more. Absolutely true!

no food...
I should be dreaming of salads or grilled salmon, but what do I want right now?
...A chili cheese dog.
hells yeah

I'll have to settle for nothing though, because we are completely broke and have no food.
Wish there were a soupkitchen in town. -___-

Well, I would love some grilled salmon!
It fits perfectly within my diet- very good- but the problem is that I don't have any money or any food right now.
So... I could dream of grilled salmon all day long but my tummy will remain empty.

Just one more day of no food and I will be at my dad's.
Surely he will have some food! ahh!

MY uncles so bloody petty. In the last week he's been giving me one word answers if I've tried to initiate conversation with me, and just generally bein hostile, I figured he'd broken up with his girlfriend. Turns out he's ignoring me and Harvey because Harvey bars at him. I'll just rewrite the list of why he's pathetic, there's one more to add.

He's about 48, he lives with his 66 year old mum. He has no reason for this, he doesn't have a disability or handicap. He's ignoring e and my dog because my dog barks at him, he's lied to my nan about Harvey biting him. (you know when a dog lunges and they're barking? They sort of jump forward a little bit..... don't know if you know what I mean, but Harvey does that, my uncle puts his hand down where Harveys going to lunge, and then has the audacity to claim Harvey tried to bite him). I just wish he would grow up and get a life, but oh well. One more reason for me to move out in 210 days I guess. Roll on 16

^ We always have cans of food in the cupboard and pantry. And what really irritates me is my mom buys these things, especially when they're on sale or something, yet no one in the house eats them (And because of my multiple allergies, I can't eat them). I've actually told her that she should donate them if no one eats them. I honestly would be happy to ship you a few cans or so.

Oh, that is kind of you but I'm sure your efforts would be appreciated at a food bank or soup kitchen.
Shelters always need donations- and there are groups who send baskets of canned and boxed goods to low income families all year round or near the holidays. If you have food to give, it would be very kind of you to do so.

My family will be okay in a couple of weeks, we'll get by somehow- but a homeless person may be homeless for a very long time- for their entire lives even; so they could make better use of the food than I ever could.
It would be an excellent idea to donate.
I support that idea 100%, incase you couldn't tell. haha
