Just got this CD in the mail today. You remember those shiny silver things kids?
Anyway, haven't heard this album in years and I always did think this was Ozzie's best solo album.
I know that most people would say that "Blizzard" is better but this album is darker and more "mature" sounding to me.
Randy Rhodes is really top notch on this one as well. Hard to imagine a better metal guitarist really even in history.
Plus I have heard Crazy Train so many times that I would be fine if I never hear it again.
I mean I have heard it played by marching bands at sporting events for cripe's sake!
I went with the 1995 remaster because I fear the most recent remaster would have the dynamic range squashed to make it sound "louder" on cheap equipment.
The 2002 remaster should be avoided because Sharon supposedly talked Ozzie into having the drums and bass redone so you aren't actually getting the original recording. This angered MANY fans!
