yeah...if this happened to me it would be the last time i ever gave anyone my number. also, i'd probably consider throwing a brick through her window or something...i wouldn't find that "prank" funny at all.

I think she is playing "the girl game" you know girls wants to pick on guys...
If you gave her your number, I think is not the way. Usually guys ask girls for their #'s
If you ask a girl for her number the first day, you meet her.. she will freak out...
If you know this girl for at least 2 weeks.. ask her for her cell#
and let's see.
P.S. Don't show a girl you are dying for her ;)

That's a bit of a sh@*y thing to do I think, put your number on craigslist and everything. If you had done that to her she probably would have hit the roof. I'd stay away from her tbh

^ Good one. I would replace the picture of the hot girl with a picture of a very ugly old man but I always go for the most absurd option.

This is what I would do to get someone back in a non-creepy, legal way:


Buy some shellfish. I suggest mussel meat because it's small and soft. Leave it somewhere hot for a while until it gets slightly funky but not dangerous. Then freeze it to disguise the smell so you can carry it into her shop with you. Find a good place to hide it. Inside something unpopular and non-perishable where it won't leak and preferably where she would be able to follow her nose to a certain point but never be able to 100% pinpoint the exact location.

P.S. This is just me. I've never said I was sane.

Not only is she not interested, but she is very bitchy and underhanded. I can't imagine what would possess me to put a stranger's number on craiglist and form a fake profile if I wasn't psychologically disturbed or extremely offended by them and wanted to humiliate them. You should go into the store and say to her at the top of your voice, something that will embarass her, like 'you don't even feel confident enough to put your real pictures on craiglist?'

This girl sounds like a nutter, imagine what she'll do when you are IN a relationship with her.

Why are people suggesting to try again... What she did wasn't a friendly prank, they barely know each other from the sound of it. She's just a bitch, leave her well alone because she's not interested.

the OP clearly stated that he thought it was funny and wasn't too bothered by it

his immediate response was to figure out how to prank her back in a non-hurtful way - something fun

obviously, the OP is a prankster with a good sense of humor - that's his personality

since he's been chatting with the girl on more than one occasion, she has probably picked up on this

when he gave her his number, she took a risk and pranked him

maybe she's a cruel and spiteful person - or maybe she was having fun and trying to get his attention

running away is not the way to find out

Yeah there are friendly jokes and pranks, then there are nasty, demeaning deeds done in the guise of 'humour'. This is the latter. The victim can't retaliate and openly challenge because then he'll be a 'bad sport'. This is how cunning manipulators work.

What normal person would do that to a customer who asked for your number? Even if he racially abused her, it's a pretty pathetic thing to do and bad taste of a joke.
