I just don't know. I'm a girl and I usually don't think about my attraction for any gender.
It's just, I went to a psychic a month ago and she said I would end up with a woman.
I just thought this was bizarre considering I've never even been with a man or a woman before and this psychic was like in her seventies and seemed really cautious about saying this.
This is my first time going to one and it kinda made me all worried. I know I make my own future but saying that I'd end up with another girl- and she even gave me a name- Mary, just has worried my mind the last few weeks.

I went to a psychic once. Its unfortunate, but people working as psychics are mostly scammers preying on our gullibilities for their own profit. Discard everything she said.

How old are you? Both age and the opportunity to look into things factor into decisions about sexual preference. I think the best advice I could give is not to pressure yourself into defining yourself. If you eventually meet someone of any gender and decide you want them, you might have to reevaluate everything all over again. :)

Just because the psychic said you were going end up with a women doesn't mean its going to happen. Just do what feels right for you weather its with a man or women it doesn't matter which sex it is as long as they makes you happy thats all that matters in life.

If you've never thought about it before the psychic, chances are you're straight. Don't worry. The most worrisome outcome would be for you to never find someone.

that woman, like all in her profession, is a huge smoke blower who has to pay her rent so she feeds this bs to unsuspecting people like you. I don't think you should never give your money to such things, particularly if they bring you no peace of mind. Maybe what she has was gas and not a "feeling" about you like you say. LoL

please loose no sleep over such"predictions". Wasn't the world supposed to end last week? LoL. Yes some religious loony was saying that.

Well, wait it out and see if someday you become attracted to someone - male or female. Attraction to one single person may not be enough to know if you're gay, straight or bi. Are you depressed at all? If so, that could be why you lack any sexual feelings. Also, you might just be asexual. Some people really don't experience any sort of attraction or sexual urges towards anybody.

I do not agree that psychics are necessarily scammers. Some people genuinely are psychic. Saying you will end up with a woman named Mary may mean that your nurse in the nursing home when you are 95 will be called Mary.

...and this is how they work, they say stuff in such loose, general terms that the meaning can be twisted many ways. When I went to one years ago he said "You may or may not know of it, but you have had a close encounter with death"

Ignore what she said. Suggestion can have powerful effect on one's thinking, don't let it guide your mind where ordinarily it would not have gone.

Please remember that whether psychic abilities genuinely exist or not, none have been able to prove themselves when accurately tested despite many tens of thousands of potential candidates in more than a hundred years of history.

...and this is precisely why I find so-called "psychics" utterly disgusting. I can understand why people go to them, but that makes things even worse; they deliberately scam well-intentioned but slightly insecure people to make a living.

Not that I think there's something wrong with being gay, of course, but just as I think people shouldn't try to 'cure' gay people by forcing them to be straight, nobody should be 'nudged' toward being gay either. Your sexuality is yours alone to find out.
