I gave it a two but I was debating on going higher or lower. I was feeling really anxious today because I had to train a new girl at work and I was mad at another co-worker who is basically my only friend but I couldn't talk about it because I hate confrontation... There is a really good line in Voltaire's Candide about how we all feel about our lives. "Just for the sake of amusement, ask each passenger to tell you his story, and if you find a single one who hasn’t often cursed his life, who hasn’t told himself he’s the most miserable man in the world, you can throw me overboard head first.”
― Voltaire, Candide

I have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and money in the bank, all of which puts me well ahead of at least ninety percent of the world's population, I dare say. However, I have no close family, few friends, and more often than not I'm afraid to leave the house. I believe the negatives and the positives balance out to a solid three out of five—a lonely, miserable, but well-stuffed three.

Rate compared to what? According to what I like? Compared to the average in my country? The average worldwide, the best and the worst that's possible?

All in all my life is ok. I got a job, I got a flat (renting it, I don't own it), I got a couple of close friends (no partner though), I'm quite healthy, got no debts (while still being poor), and live in a nice city.

So things are ok. They could be better, they could be worse.

3/5

I feel a bit privileged to have eventually discovered that my problems are in my social status. This was an underlying factor which I ignored in youth and when life hit a peak for a good few years.

Somedays I've reached 5/5. When my anxiety gets the better of me 0/5. On average my life's better than it has been for a long while. At least I've been living.

I'd say it's a 2/5. It's missing a lot of what I want, but the essentials are taken care of and I should be able to pull myself up.

I guess this is too broad question. Rate my life what for? For how happy I am? For what positive I have done and how I have helped others? For what I have learned? My life in the past, present, or future?

It differs from day to day.

Whether I'm having pizza for dinner (or breakfast (or lunch (or as a snack))) seem to be a big part of it.

What if I don't feel like I deserve much, so I'm pretty much already there? But based on what my potential might be, I guess somewhere between a 1 and a 2. I just don't have the motivation right now, just thinking about things like trying to make friends or actually applying for jobs within the field that I have degrees in make me too anxious. I'm struggling financially, in loads of debt, my credit is in the toilet, and I'm basically a low wage peon at my current jobs. The only thing I have going as a positive in my life is my children, but I still feel like I'm not the best mother for them since I don't feel like my life is a great example for them to learn the things they need to know to do well in life themselves.

I rated mine a 5/5.

There's so much to be thankful for and my life really isn't that fabulous by most peoples standards.I work all day,my commute is an hour and twenty minutes both ways,my house is small and old,and I'm divorced.

But...I'm healthy, alive, have a decent salaried job with benefits,my car is still relatively new,I've painted and decorated my little house to make it an artful and classy unique space,my dogs think I'm the most awesome person on the planet, and many other things are just really too great to complain about much.
