For some situations, I really should. :/No you don't!!!![]()
If the contact is by phone, I understand your dilemma. I put that off for as long as possible myself. For some reason it's more frightening than a face-to-face meeting! I suggest just not think for 60 seconds and before you know it you'll be talking to them.Anxious and avoidant and procrasticant. I need to contact someone and I can't even bring myself to start thinking about it. I'm a jellyfish.
Absolutely. I need to take my own advice, haha.yes, this is a good technique that I've used before - because we tend to over-think things, which leads to anxiety, switching off thinking about it altogether works well![]()
I live in Australia and I didn't even know that was on at the moment. Shows how little I pay attention to tennis.I feel ok I guess. The australian open started which for a die hard tennis fan like myself is absolute heaven.
Yeah, I remember your car troubles and your financial difficulties. Is everything panning out for you?thankful to have a job!
I am a constant disappointment to everyone I know. The saddest thing of all is when I want to fix it, they all refuse to help. I don't understand why, I have always been considerate and helpful towards people. The moment I need assistance everyone doesn't want to help.
Overall, I feel helpless.
I'll sing you a lullaby. "Go to sleeeeeeeeeep, sweet dreeeeeeams...".Sleep does not appear to be visiting me tonight.
I'm glad!@mikeyc yep, thank goodness! everything is panning out.![]()
By your standards and actions stated, I wouldn't call you a disappointment. I'd just say that you need some help. Needing help doesn't make you helpless. Have you tried asking around to see if anyone will help you? If so, and they said no, then it might be time to make some new company because friends and family are always there for each other when they need it.
Good luck, twiggle. Hopefully you don't get the giggles again.Nervous. Got a conference meeting on Skype today, I'll be sat with my boss taking down the notes... and last time we did this, I got the giggles because of some of the background noises that were coming from the other participants and the way my boss politely typed to them to turn their speakers down...
Yeah I have a weird sense of humour, don't mind me.
