Hey(MEN ONLY), if it was socially and culturally acceptable to have more than one

Oh great, now I don't remember the previous 4 months of my life because you interrupted. Is the coffee in the kitchen fresh? When was the last time I vacuumed? Did I brush my teeth this morning?

I guess we'll never know. >:C

I am so very dreadfully sorry.

The coffee is, indubitably, no longer fresh by now.

Just kind of unrelated to the discussion, but I'm getting tired of the men only/women only posts. I thought this was a social phobia forum? Everyone should be allowed to discuss.

And also, why is it that men say they wouldn't because it's "too expensive" or "stressful". The misogyny on the forums I see is annoying sometimes.

Hie yer hence from me heath!
I don't think it would work for me, personally. One girlfriend/wife would be good enough for me, thanks.

But each to their own, I guess.

Someone said exactly what I was thinking!

This forum is the least misogynistic forum I go to. I will argue that most men here say they wouldn't because it's wrong, though, so the good outweigh the bad.

No, I dont even know how in those countries where it is allowed that people can have more than one wife. How can you truly love more than one person at a time. I think they just like to have sex with many different women and call it love to justify it to outsiders.

Nah, I have no wish to love more than one person. It would never be fair for those left in the dust, so to speak. Or rather, those left waiting. That said, the idea of being one of many husbands doesn't appeal much either so maybe I am just naturally monogamous by nature.

Agreed, you said what I didn't have the courage to say. I don't see why women can't participate in this discussion. Could someone give me a reasonable explanation as to why we cannot? It's not like we're talking about a male exclusive topic here. According to the site rules sexism, misogyny and misandry are not permitted and are considered a violation. While I don't think anyone has gone that far yet, I think it should kept in mind.
BTW Aletheia started a thread on the same topic for both genders (http://www.socialphobiaworld.com/a-wider-view-of-more-than-one-girls-can-play-too-38783/).

There are no rules, women can participate in this thread if they want to. I looked back a couple pages and it looks like a couple girls commented. However I think the main reason it said "guys only" because the question was specifically "You being a straight male, would you have more than one girlfriend or wife?" Girls aren't really a straight male, so I think that is all it was getting at.

I never understood why women couldn't post here initially, but Aletheia's thread welcomes all views so that one should be more followed than this one.

The OP is banned.

Yes, there was some exclusion originally-- although the title of the thread was; "Hey guys," which could include everyone in general.
After several; "men only please" type comments, the thread title was changed.

The OP is banned, so this thread really should be closed, since there are two of these threads.
The issue has been solved, I think. Sorry for the confusion XD

Please feel free to post here: http://www.socialphobiaworld.com/a-wider-view-of-more-than-one-girls-can-play-too-38783/ , everyone- if you would like.
