For years I have been a complete cyberchondriac. I don't know if I officially have hypchondria or not (I have a post on this in this forum if you'd like to see my symptoms of it), but regardless of an "official title", I do feel that my hours on the internet obessing over illness (particularly psychological ones), is becoming increasingly more detrimental to me. Not only am I wasting too much time which I should be spending out their enjoying life (or at least getting something productive done!), I am also pretty sure that all this focusing on illness is making me sicker! (You don't have to be a dedicated follower of the Law of Attraction to know that focusing on illness zaps your personal wellbeing!).
I have decided that I'm going to make a dedicated effort to stop my nasty little habit (of at least 6 years, so old habits are going to die hard!). So, no more hours googling my so-called symptoms and no more crying to this forum with every little problem.
And, so I guess this is goodbye. I've only been on this forum a short time, but I thank you all for your support. I really appreciate all the helpful comments and support. This is one of the many steps I've taken towards a happier, healthier life this year, so I hope it brings me success.
I'll miss you all and wish you well for your futures! =)
