Katie, whats the biggest caliber you've shot? Just curious....

Me, I like hard hitting rifles... I like the recoil to some degree... My .458 win mag is a bit harsh, but I'm glad I own it... I can shoot it about three times before I get a massive headache. That is the most gorgeous rifle I own... The rifle is 100% custom made with exhibition grade claro walnut with allot of fiddleback in the wrist area... It has a redish tint to the wood as well.. Beautiful gun!

I had another gun remade into a tack driver... Lilja out of Montana, makes stainless 3 groove stress relieved barrels that are amazing! I have some very accurate rifles thanks to a very good gunsmith and lilja stainless barrels with a regular blued receiver and HS precision synthetic stocks that were glass bedded. On a bet, I took out a bumble bee at 100 yards....

I had a bit of fun when some of my friends were destroying a junked car, I decided to put a dummy inside of the drivers side with a sealed bag of bloody mary mix and beer... Then I rolled the camcorder and shot it with my .300 win mag... The spray was amazing!

Awww don't be scared silly... Unless you are a paper target, then you might have something to worry about mate! No worries.... This is just a hobby... My favorite is reloading my own cartridges and shooting accuracy. That is my favorite thing to do... One thing that i have noticed with 90% of the factory rifles they are not accurate at all... If they are, then after the 4th shot the zero starts to move off in different directions... And AK-47's, all they are good for is spraying bullets, not accurate at all. Which is why I shoot from the hip! It's just a fun toy!

I think I would like to try that. Go to a firing range and fire of a few rounds.
When I think of it it sounds to me like it might feel stress releaving.
Hmm, I am not sure I like the sound of that,..... redski runs of to join green berets.... :D

Sorry to hear you went through abuse mrb, many men suffer this kind of thing everyday but it's the kind of thing that's brushed under the carepet. Not sure why this thread has gone so gun obsessed, I thought you raised an important issue.

did you ? thanks, as fas as all the guns are concerned i like it when people have a bit of a laugh on my threads :) as far as abuse is concerned well... my ex always used her fists on me , it didnt hurt she was 5 foot nothing .. funny thing was her ex bf used to knock her about , so i knocked him about , thats how we got together ... i always used to say to her jesus cherie calm down when she went for me :eek: i did try to understand why she did it , she used to say its cos steve my ex used to hit me :confused: if we were watching tv and some woman came on half naked she used to go mental , throw something shouting dont take your eyes off her will you ... so i used to just sit in the bedroom and read a book or something just in case something like that came on tv , how silly is that ... i could go on and on but i wont bore you lol ... im best out of it , shes gone through 4 blokes since all treated her like crap , its my kids i feel sorry for , but there all ok , i see them evrey month cos she lives so far away , plus ring them most nights , there happy enough ......

The worst I've ever done to my man in 17 years of being together is throw a huge cup of soda in his face when he said something that made me mad. Oh, and I tried to run him over with my car one time.... but that's it.::p:
