Yea I definitely have experienced that on multiplayer. I actually used to raid a lot on Wow, was a guild master with over 300 people all wanting to be 'friends' with the guild master.. But during raids I always felt scrutinized.
Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun back then but I think I was lucky to meet a few very special people then. Made it all a lot easier.
In the end I found it best to just simply ask what to do exactly, before starting.
But yea, I did experience anxiety in that situation too.

Some people are dickheads, but as long as you're willing to learn and ask questions most will help you. The problem is people who play like shit then refuse any criticism.

Nothing in particular, i'd like to play games like Contra or some metroidvania...Oniken, Supercyborg and Axiom Verge look great. Retro stuff.

Oh sorry, right now Im playing a lot of Overwatch. Which is odd because I usually dont like pvp but its really fun and easy to learn. I dont feel like I need 15+ years of experience just to survive a few seconds lol.

Warhammer: Total War and loving it
Hey what kinda game is this? Ive played Warhammer 40k rts games and like those but Ive never played a Total War game before. I really like the 40k universe and even read the books, do you think I'd like this other one? I totally ignored it because I didnt think I could run it but turns out I can on low settings at least, which is better than not at all.

I'm currently playing No Man's Sky and The Witcher 3 (Blood & Wine expansion). May get Deus Ex Mankind Divided next, depending on reviews. On the multiplayer front I'm alternating between Star Wars Battlefront and Overwatch.

Blood and Wine is a great expansion imo, hope you're enjoying it
Haven't been playing that much in the previous weeks, but Transistor, Starbound, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided are next up on my games to play. Regularly playing Killing Floor 2 every now and then as well.
Pick up an old total war on steam and give it a go.
Shogun 2 is pretty good and cheap.
