I have a 10km in 3 weeks. Going through a rough stretch, ran 6km slowly my heart rate was 154. A week or so ago, I ran 8 minutes quicker and my heart rate was 138.

Still running. Did 27:05 for 5km then a 10km race the next day, in 60:09, which was pedestrian. The stroke has slowed me down.

Sometimes when I walk, around the 2.5 mile mark, I get this biting pain in my inner knees. I wear Dr. Scholl's insoles and New Balance running shoes, but I still get it. Maybe it's just the cost of being overweight all of those years.

Could be you are out of alignment. Worth be getting checked out by a physio or podiatrist.

So I have done 5km 2 days in a row 29:07, 29:51. Also walked 6.5km 2 times.
