Most people I know seem to like having phone calls all day long when it´s their birthday but I don´t. What about you?

I loathe it. I try to make my birthday as subtle as possible. Then feel bad when I succeed. Fun disorder, isn't it.

I always try to avoid telling people its my birthday, especially because they'll ask what I'm doing and then I'll feel pressured to do something fun or they'll think I'm a loser or something. I really really don't like the idea of having a party just for me :s

I hate phone calls too I never answer them if I can help it. Talking on the phone for me is just as hard as talking to someone in the street

I've always hated phone calls too. I've never really had anyone call me on my birthday, but I'd still hate it all the same.

I've hated phone calls ever since I was a little kid and I think I've only invited people to my birthday once or twice. But I've always preferred to be alone or with family on that day, even since the early years... And when someone ask me what I'm doing on my birthday I have no idea what to say. Because most people think it's weird that I don't have a big party or something.. Anyway, at least facebook is good for one thing, it gives me less phone calls on my birthday because most people just post "Happy birthday" on my wall :D

I can't remember the last time I had a birthday! Must have been about 9 or 10 years old.

I love calling.
I also try not to tell anyone about my bday, those questions are the worst. Looks like we all Have to go out and get drunk somewhere and puke on other ppl to be cool.:)
EDIT: I don't celebrate bdays.

Well, I appreciate the fact that someone is calling me and acknowledging the day, but I just don't like phone calls. Phone calls are just so awkward, probably even more so on a day like your birthday. No one calls me on my birthday though, so I don't have to worry too much.

I think it's worse with other people's birthdays if you get invited out and stuff... Then it feels like you "have" to go and it will be hard to get away with a good excuse.... Ugh.

I hate phonecalls, they're akward as hell, i'd rather meet someone irl.

Sortof hate my birthday. I like to get attention (because i dont get too much) but when i get too much, like on my birthday it just feels unnatural. I also just dont get it, i like celebrating and doing fun stuff.. but what is there to celebrate? That i have gained one more year of consuming recourses?

I definitely don't like attention.

People continually demand my attention. That's recruiters. My world. The phone never stops ringing. Everyone wants to make money. So do i. But ppl prevent me from doing it, because i am not perfect

I don't get phonecalls, but classsmates say happy birthday on facebook (damn facebook revealing the date I kept hidden for so long)

This year when I walked into class everyone sang happy birthday, which is a nice gesture but I was mortified and didn't know how to react.
