Are you humorous when talking to others?

OK so I think being humorous among people, like when your talking with friends is a pretty good and effective "virtue". Whenever I try to be like that I fail most of the time. It sometimes works with other dudes, but never really works with girls, because I think they wouldn't just laugh at what I'm saying.
Anyone else having hard times with saying something funny to others?

Yeah. Though, I think, given my Scottish accent, I'm unintentionally unfunny even when saying something serious.

If its in the flow of conversation and a funny moment pops up its class, but like try not to be intentionally funny allow it to happen..

I have my days with my quips. Most days I like people around me to be the funny ones..

Ya, mostly in real life. A lot of times when I'm around my sister and her boyfriend, I keep them in stitches.

Not really, my humor can be a bit spontaneous some people can be a bit shocked if I say something witty.
my bf is pretty good at that.

I loved it one day with someone I had met a few times before, as I came into my friends' house (in another country) and made others crack up in laughter - my dark basic satire, and sarcasm, told me I'd make a good comic on stage.

I won't forget that comment - it's drilled into my psych. He taught me fire dancing that weekend. I carried that all the way to a beach in Thailand at the end of the year. No way you can tell my personality or feelings when I type. Just in my head. In real world, I ain't quiet or shy.

I've enjoyed Jongleurs; yes?

On a good day (RARE!) I'd bounce across all corners of the stage, with rhythm and energy, expressing my hates, mocking those at the front with questions, with energetic rage: F*** that! F*** you! and so on...

to applause & tears

I try and its nice when you jive with other people. Some people i know who are humorous don't jive with me, or I miss their punchlines or their jokes. And the same with me, some ppl don't get me. And some ppl bring out the best in you..

I am, but maybe a little too much at times. I'm just naturally someone who likes to laugh and joke around though! :)

Sometimes too much. Irreverence is a trait which is not looked upon fondly.
But seriously... I mean come... who doesn't like a good pun at a funeral?

So touchy....jeez.

If I can identify a joke somehow - I will use it. Humour is important to me.
I can make people laugh... its one of the few skills I have. Even if I do say so myself.

So am I! Sometimes I laugh too much though and people think there is something wrong with me. But laughter is one of those things that just feels good, and it burns calories, so why not. Sometimes people say I am funny, and I can be, though I am not the kind of person that cracks jokes. I get uncomfortable around people who are serious--being silly makes it easier to bond.

I suppose I can be sometimes. I guess I can use my voice to my advantage and really nail the dry humour. Though unfortunetely, theres times where my underlying desire to be liked can make me go a bit too far and can border extremely annoying::(:

I'm humorous to people I am usually comfortable being around. Like with family members and friends of them.

My sister and her boyfriend when they're around.

well, i am dull and stay quiet around most people even family, which is behind the whole SA thing, so i just chip in when i think of something, every so often, witty or not witty. i used to be chatty with my cousin because we liked music and similar things..

at work i'm crap with humour. the others are silly, i include myself but i just say the best that i can think of, when the others start chatting away its actually funny.

I like watching comedies, funny movies and i'm silly by myself, its just around others i crawl back into my head.

you're lucky, in my opinion if you're funny (especially if you know it) it means you have a strong personality and you'd be fine in any social situations.

the root cause of my SA is that i feel dull and quiet in groups and want to be funny.

i wasn't brought up in a relaxed/fun environment so maybe that's part of it.

if you know you're funny/silly how can you even have SA, unless its mild.
