I have to agree. Even though I hate SA and my other health issues, I definitely wouldn't want to be someone else. Then again, those "issues" don't define who I am as a person.

I found this question bizarrely complicated when it shouldn't be. People have always told me to 'be myself'. But that is shy, socially awkward, lonely loner with no conversation skills. I personally don't want to be like that.
So i prefer the phrase: "Be the self you want to be."

So in response to your question Paahi, I am not happy being my current self. But when I'm the person I want to be, I will be happy

Actually one of the reasons I wish I was someone else is so I could get another chance by an old friend not really a friend any more but today I realized that I've never been so close to anyone
