I was up until 1:00am making this recipe ('cause today's our American holiday of Thanksgiving), and it turned out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

This thread is kinda the place where I come when I need help being positive. All of your posts remind me of things I am thankful for. There's really a lot that's great in life, and it would have been a horrible-horrible waste if I'd thrown it all away.

What a great idea for a thread. Something positive about myself is I have a really nice voice that many people have said they wish could read to them at night lol. Oh I also really like my eyes, a nice blue color.

I guess I like my eyes. They're kind of a bluish grey.

My singing voice (compared to my speaking voice) is pretty decent too. I'm a saprano but can ONLY go so high, plus... I'm a bit out of practice.

High-five for blue eyes. You say yours are blueish gray, do they ever change to all gray? Just wondering if that happens to anybody else.

Not that I really notice. Maybe... *goes to check in a mirror*

Not really. It's kinda hard to say what type of blue they are now. But a think I noticed was that I have kind of s sunburst in my eyes (like some random yellow in the center before my pupil starts)

(Sorry about the quality of the picture. Extreme closeups don't look so nice. D: )

No problem on the picture quality, cool coloring on the inside of your iris. Yeah I haven't seen my eyes when they were gray many times but have been asked several times about it.

I'd post a picture of one of my eyes but my camera is not usable right now (still waiting for my new battery charger to get here).

Circular breathing. Kind of hard but beginning to engrave into feeling natural.

Is that when you breathe in through your nose while at the same time breathing out through your mouth? I've tried to do that, don't get how people do it.

Something positive....I've got nothing.

Yes it is. Mind you it is impossible to breath in while breathing out. Inhale nose, quickly. Force air in mouth out with cheeks. Then return to using lungs. When I do really well, still rare yet, my head sometimes start to spin.

I don't donate money to Cancer Research because I don't want the poor animals to be tested on.
So instead I donate to Cancer Care, and various animal and childrens charities. x

About two weeks ago, I had a job interview which I thought I completely bombed. My anxiety has not acted up in a while. Certainly not like it did during the interview. It all began when I was greeted by five interviewers. Before that I had been very calm and thought myself prepared....I hate not being prepared! My anxiety will easily act up if I'm unprepared.

I was so anxious during the interview that my thought process almost went blank. I had to struggle to keep my answers coherent. I went home thinking that I had completely failed. I hadn't felt so embarrassed in a long time! My sole consolation was that I was surprisingly able to function despite my anxiety being being very high. I've rarely been able to do so in the past because I would freak out instead of trying work through the anxiety.

I figured that they would call me back to tell me that I had not been selected and just left it at that. Earlier this morning, I get a call informing me that they actually liked me! That and they want to pay me more!? (I will inquire about that.) They want me to go see them tomorrow morning!

Now that I think about it...my performance had not been so terrible after all. As I wrote above, I still was able to pull through, and a few instances during the interview and right after, I was able to show my more charming side. That and I can say that I gave good answers.
I know that we win some and we lose some in life, but this small thing gave me some hope for the future. Hope that I will be able to pull through again.

^ Wow!! If there's something that tells us, that we don't come across as horribly, or anxiously, as we think we do, it's that! Good job! :) Put a smile on my face to hear
