I called a doctor's office nearby and was able to get in an early appointment. A guy with an English accent answered and let me tell you that was probably the most enjoyable call to a doctor's office I ever had. I hope he answers the phone next week when I have to call in to confirm. :giggle:

Kim Kardashian is actually a very attractive woman. For some reason i hadn't really noticed till now. Also i think Angelina Jolie is still very attractive, but i'm just so used to seeing her pictures that i seldom see what a truly beautiful woman she is.

This is not about celebrities, but unfortunately in life in general there are the HAVE's and the HAVE NOT's. It's a hard fact of life.

Edit: But on the other hand, METALLICA RULZ. ROCK ON METALLICA!!!

You'll probably take umbrage with me for this, but I partly disagree. But then Metallica will never be as great as...

No, not at all. I've always like Iron Maiden also, another awesome band. I'm just excited for Metallica's new album to come out in november (found a couple tracks online)

PS said:
Metallica has become one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, and is credited as one of the "big four" of thrash metal, along with Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth. The band has sold more than 110 million records worldwide, including an RIAA-certified 66 million and Nielsen SoundScan-reported 53,642,000 in the U.S., making Metallica one of the most commercially successful bands of all time. The writers of The Rolling Stone Encyclopedia of Rock & Roll said Metallica gave heavy metal "a much-needed charge". Stephen Thomas Erlewine and Greg Prato of Allmusic said Metallica "expanded the limits of thrash, using speed and volume not for their own sake, but to enhance their intricately structured compositions", and called the band "easily the best, most influential heavy metal band of the '80s, responsible for bringing the music back to Earth".

I just spent well over an hour sorting through about six years worth of unopened credit card statements, just to avoid answering my messages on Facebook. Nope, no social issues here.

I think too much.

It has perplexed me for many years now why some humans can just glide through life, not excessively analysing every. little. bit. of their day and life .

Then on the flipside, some humans can get so bogged down in their analysis of every - even non essential - part of their existence. :kickingmyself:

I want to be one of those humans that just live.

They just "do" their life without having to think obsessively about every element of it.

Can it be achieved by not necessarily embracing "ignorance" as the phrase suggests - "Ignorance is bliss" ?

I wonder if so******ing could help lower my daily level of boredom

It could - but that depends who yer hanging out with, though.
If yer going out as well, then aye, that'll reduce the boredom.

Unless, of course, you happen to live a dreary, miserable, small town with nothing going for it. Ooops! There's me slaggin' off ma hometown again. :giggle:

Got my first exam back yesterday. I didn't do as well as I thought. Nearly failed it. I'm kinda kicking myself because for one, I've done this before. Granted it was 4 years ago since I've taken a similar course, but back then I did fairly well and got a B+ at the end of the semester. Also, I barely studied. I studied two days before the exam. Before that I was just working on other homework and was preoccupied with other things in my life. Basically poor excuses. I should've kept up with the reading and practice problems.

Then again, I hate doing any kind of work anymore because my concentration has been sucking so much. I hate it. I feel like I'm trying, but every day it's such a struggle even to remember simple things. I'm suffering from headaches every single day, I feel awful.

I don't live in any town, but out in the "what-what's", so it's got absolutely zero things to do, just one lonely food shop, a mechanics garage & a primary school, in various locations, but that's it.
I can't have people over at my house, due to my hoarding/clutter issues.
And i've got no transport, no even a bicycle.
At best, i think i could be taken on outings say once or twice per week, but not at night, and that is often when i'm my most bored.
So i'm kinda stuffed, for now at least.

Ah wonder just how much longer I'm going to put up with this misery before I actually end it all?
I mean, there's little keeping me here, aside from a family who think more highly of me than I do of them.

I've put some milk in my glass, & cream in my ears. I don't know what to do, but i'm so glad; getting a little spoonful of fake sugar...

I just carry on enduring the misery, day in day out. Why, i have no idea. Habit maybe. Or fear of the unknown. Or knowing that my misery always passes. Or curiosity about the future.
Yeah, life's a piece of shit, but maybe it's meant to be?
